I was thinking about getting T470 (about 350-400$ in my region) or T480 (about 500$), but today I got possibility to buy Vostro 5568 for about 130$ in perfect condition. Should I go for this vostro, or is thinkpad keyboard really worth it?

thinkpad keyboard will likely be better, plus replacement parts and linux support will probably be nonexistent on the Vostro.

schizo idea : i got one of these ultrabay gpus for a Lenovo y500, could it work in a T60 or T61?

Thinking of picking up a ThinkPad T420 i7 2640M for about $75, good deal?

Has some minor issues that I believe can be repaired.

im sure you miss a lot with your X series dong user

Is the bluetooth LED lit only during bluetooth activity or also when the card is on? I put a wifi card with integrated bluetooth, the led lights up with the bios but not in the OS

I think just activity

Is there a touchpad that fits an x270 and actually does what is expected of a pointing device, which is to relay information of the exact spot where a finger's touching it? The one I have loves to hide input events it thinks the Average User wouldn't need. I am spoiled by linux, I say there's no going back after you've felt the absolute precision of a pointer dancing in place as you gently wiggle your finger around on the touchpad. The T series is fine, though it has other funny and colorful touchpad quirks to pull your hair out over as you wait for your shiny, defect-free ALPS touchpad to arrive.

Hello anons, retard here. I flashed ivyrain before flashing battery whitelist and keyboard mod. I'm running ivyprep to downgrade. Any Forums why am I retarted?

Amazon lol

Hey Apu, I'm well. what is your cat doing?

Buy buy buy. Just make sure you like the T series form factor. I like X series more.

Good morning Sirs

I think I'll pick it up, have a W-series so the form factor shouldn't be an issue.

>T420 vs T420s
