The web in 2020. Reading from within a small container surrounded by ads, videos, notification requests, and the GDPR cookie warning bullshit. The modern web was a mistake. Take me back to 2003.
This is why people use ad blockers. I can tolerante a side add with minimal animation. But when ads use more cpu than the page itself, starts playing video with audio, or the page shows pop-ups they can fuck off.
Couldn't you just write a script to sign up hundreds of fake email addresses to these newsletter pop ups?
