>the MOST beautiful and useful portable computer I've owned and used
IBM Thinkpad is a meme
bought for around 100 dollars
2gbyte ram
intel i3
purchased five years ago!
I still use is more than all other computers owned
32bit but kali runs fine
form factor perfection
battery 4 hours or more
Those are shit specs for that price even nowadays, let alome 5 years ago.
It may be a well built machine but they're way too expensive for what they are.
They still look like laptops from 2005. Fujitsu is similar
fujistsu is shit
i have not seen laptops which look similar
and even if they did, what matters to me are the tasks I accomplish with it
i.g. comfy as fuck
Yeah their tough books are incredible
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I was dissapointed to see that-as far as I could find-, that tough books were the only option available in the U.S.
absolutely aesthetic
i love these so much and they're cheap to buy from medical auctions. sadly the screens are not very good but they are durable.
panasonic sells a few of their jdm let's notes as lower-cost toughbooks, they were generally found in hospitals although this and op's models are long out of date
mmmmm
only missing a floppy drive
ughhhh
I saw a thing on hackaday where they put a raspberry pi inside one because people love this more than the powerbooks.
absolute perfection
ahh, good to know
why not buy one for 300
16gb ram
i5
a macbook air would rape this computer and prolapse it
Because that model doesn't have those specs dumbass
What's with the playing cards?
Fug that optical drive placement is really a good idea.
>no nub
>stupid gay circular trackpad
>wasted space around the inverted T
>teeny space bar
it sucks
Is this trash hoarding general?
omg reddit we found new treasure
