Just look for "dive watch". It's literally in your file name. "diver".

Most brands have dive collections. It boils down to your aesthetic tastes in how it looks and whether or not you want an automatic movement, or quartz.

But dive doesn't have the circular design
sector dial is close, but they're mad expensive and like 5 of them these days

jewelry thread on tech board

unironically Any Forums is definitely not shit at all literally

>But dive doesn't have the circular design
It depends on the manufacturer/designer. It's a fucking dive watch. Look them up.

Like it or not, horology involves technology

This is both me, see the common pattern?

They are called compressor or super compressor style watches, you can also lokj for watches with internal rotating bezels whichis the part around the outside that is controlled by turning the second crown

Meant to quote

>sector dial is close, but they're mad expensive and like 5 of them these days
I've read this three times and still have no idea what the fuck you are trying to say.

yeah, a toaster involves technology too fucking faggot.
Go buy some earrings to match your bracelet.

He means he's browsing sector dial, a website that specialises in low production run vintage watches, and wondering why they're so expensive and so few on them.

From a technological perspective there is no difference between watches. They all have adequate accuracy for day to day use. The only reason to use a $10000 watch instead of a $10 one is to shoe off your wealth.
And vanity belongs on /fa/ or Any Forums. Same thing with apple.

Go be salty elsewhere you boring fuck.

"Sector dial" is a type of dial design, like you see in the second image(titled Longine) in this thread.

The purpose of that design is to make reading time easier, but that's besides the point.

It means, there are concentric circles on the dials where the hour and second hand ends.

Pictured is another watch that follows the "sector dial" type of design for it's dial.

>And vanity belongs on /fa/ or Any Forums.
>mfw this entire board believes itself to be better than everyone else because of the operating system they use and the lack of social media they have.
wew lad.

The watch thread tends to bounce between Any Forums and /fa/, because watchfags are insufferable.

>Watch thread used to literally always be on /g until it got moved to /fa a couple years ago
It was moved there for a good reason

>It was moved there for a good reason
because people on Any Forums know less about watch technology than they do about computer technology?

...

The discussions in watch threads is not tech

neither is the discussion of gender politics in Any Forums, but we're flooded with it.
