On for parts ebay listings I see "No Caddy Drive/Cover" a lot but idk what that means. I think they are talking about the metal wrap for a 2.5 drive but I'm not sure.

I want to libreboot an x200 but I remember an user saying that osboot might be better because it has some extra updates

Thinkchads, what would you say the oldest (i.e., most retro) Thinkpad is that could run an emulator like Bluestacks?
I want something with a retro feel, hopefully relatively cheap, with just enough power under the hood to play gotcha games while browsing Any Forums.

Upgraded T410, T420 maybe.

I'm looking into this too. I'll probably go with Libreboot cuz muh freedumbs but if you at the project closely even the maintainer seems to speak more positively about osboot (which is also made by the same person). Make of that what you will.

Found a X201 in some e-waste. Battery in good health, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. Not a bad find, have stuck MX Linux on it for now.

How to I change my bios splash on a r60e ? I can't seem to find any program for it. Also I'm trying to update the boot logo on my E530c but its not working. Any help is apprecated.
