Never Obsolete *Fuck Jewtel Edition*

Picrel.
I have no reason or want to upgrade. It does literally everything I need it to do.

What NEVER OBSOLETE non-Jewtel CPU are you running Any Forums?

that is why ((((they)))) make different sockets

Pre-Ryzen AMD CPU naming schemes are hard, desu. That's why I used Intel CPUs in DDR3 era.

Posting the chip that still makes redditors seethe.

Dogshit housefire

I knew I fucked up going from a A64 x2 to a Phenom Black when the stock cooler sounded like a jet, the temp in my room shot up 12 degrees, and only 2 of my USB ports worked.
Fast forward to last year, and my Poozen 3600 on a b450 needs a $12 cooler to stay under 38C and only 1 of my frontpanel USB ports work 50% of the time. No matter how many bios or chipset updates I do.
Can’t wait for Chinkware to be illegal in the West.

Who /decade club/ here?

heh, nothing personnel kid

Name one worthwhile thing your Ryzen 5 1600 can do that the 880K cannot do.

I had a phenom II X3 build from christmas 2008 until two months ago when I build around a 5700g. Legendary CPU.

My mistake for starting an unordered list of attributes in a shitpost on an AMD meme thread with a mention of Intel parts.

Regardless, if you bought hardware from that or the preceding generation, then you made an excellent choice. I occasionally dig out my 990fx and x58 setups to see if they're still viable with reasonable overclocking, and even godawful electronshit still runs fine. Considering that there are autists on here dailying Core2 thinkpads, it'll probably be possible to use an X5650, 2500k, or 83whatever for most tasks for at least a few more years.

The 939 appreciation thread on ocn was still pretty active only a few years ago. Evidently some users were dailying or had them in regular service as of 2018, which gives that platform an effective life of at least 14 years.

Still running an fx 8320. Still works great.

Is it really? I mean, I have a 1700X and it runs way better on Linux, so I totally believe you. Was Microsoft's dogshit scheduler to blame for the FX series too?
