How often do you reinstall your OS?

When I have to.

Once a week.

Once. That's it. Do, or die, baby.

I distrohop way too much

When a new LTSC comes out :^)

why would i waste my time with low-level details like an OS.
PaaS ftw.

I use manjaro because i need a gui package manager, so about twice a week when updates refuse to update.

never

Not that much anymore

I have autistic/ocd obsession with reinstalling os, so once a month minimum, more if I do more things on pc

Never
Unless i messed up and it failed to load

Pretty much once a year. It's not an intentional thing, just how often something breaks that it's easier to back up my files and reinstall than figure out how to fix.

Same.
I think I may actually have some elements of OCD. I have to tell myself that this install will be the one, and try my best not to "dirty" it.
And some may like tinkering, but for me it is my worst nightmare. There is always something that can be better, and it is never perfect. There is never a sense of satisfaction, but I just can't resist chasing it.

Why dont you guys just keep an image so you can just revert to that state?

wtf are you doing
i've got a laptop i originally put manjaro on because it had braindead easy optimus setup, and it still works 4 years later

I think restore points are bloat, so I don't have them

When I buy a new SSD

When buying a new computer or a new major iteration of it is coming out so once a few years.

I've been on my void install for 3 & a half years. still running great so far.
