Rustsisters can't stop winning.

You know it's a toy language when not even JetBrains has an IDE for it.

Clion has Rust support

>merely a plugin
lmoa

maybe they can program a compiler that isn't dogshit slow

Unlike heavily IDE dependent languages like C, rust is quite easy with mere plugins thanks to a proper language server, module system and no dependence on preprocessors.

>c++ for fast server shit
>erlang for concurrent server shit
>javascript for mobile frontend shit
>c# for desktop frontend shit
what's the value in rust?

What the fuck are you smoking user? I want 20kg of it.

>heavily IDE dependent languages like C
C was invented before this soidev shit even began existing

Fast, concurrent server shit.

i know mostly trannies use it, but is there any other reason why rust sucks?

>botched async
>no “just werks” coroutines (which even C++ has these days)
you tried so hard and got so far but in the end it didn’t even matter

>Unlike heavily IDE dependent languages like C
Are you ok?

C was invented when 1000 lines of code was considered a big program.
>but you don't understand, that means it's GOOD for modern software
No, because C needs more lines than modern languages and it's bad at programs with more lines.

I definitely agree with a lot of the design choices behind Rust, but I already know C++ and it fills the exact same niche so I don't really see much value in learning it unless someone wants to pay me to use it.
