How do I make myself really safe and comfy online?
So far I have
>ublock
>noscript
>adguard as my android DNS
>adguard as my router DNS
>Linux as my OS
What else should I consider using?

Scrape all of that. Run a Tails live usb, burn the laptop after shutting down

Ideally you'd be running this.
github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardHome
A local instance that you could host on a raspberry or something other like it at home, it'd be both faster because adguard servers are few and far inbetween, and more private.
noscript is somewhat useless since uBlock Origin can do that

It really helps to enable or add some more filters by yourself too rather than sticking with the defaults.

You don't need NoScript with uBO, uBO already has better script blocking in advanced mode.

Pi-hole. Also running Linux means nothing if you doing know what you are doing. Are you even using the hardened kernel? SELinux?

accept that privacy and anonymity are often counterintuitive, and getting both usually involves breaking most of the internet in our era of javascript nightmares

you can't

>SELinux
>Original author(s) NSA and Red Hat
lol nice try glowie

use openbsd (or qubes if ur gay), use an /etc/hosts file on ur router + computer (glowies control DNS), use a webkit browser (luakit is the most full featured one, i like surf but you gotta patch the shit out of it to use the internet normall), use full disk encryption, use tor, host your email search engine etc, browse fchan and leave this shithole

>Safe
Privacy isn't a synonym of safety. If you want safety you should:
>Install windows
>Use a chromium-based browser
>have good OPSEC
If you want privacy however, then you should stop using the internet.

Build a browsing appliance, RDP into that and keep your main PC the fuck off the internet. Browsing appliance can browse with or without onion routing.

Easy, cheap and simple. Appliance can be a thin client running a Linux or BSD live so every reboot gives you a fresh OS load.

Tor was invented by the cia to watch childporn. if its good enough for the government its good enuf 4 me

>noscript
oh you're retarded

Buy a different harddrive for every website. Reboot and plug them in like a Gameboy :)

here is a guide on how to use ublock the same way as noscript
we will enable advanced user mode in ublock and ignore the right column for now

1) set third party scripts as blocked by default on all sites (left column = global rule)

2) when unblocking script domains, use the left column, set the domain to gray, and save. You can't do anything wrong here, if you accidentally unblock an ad, the normal filter list still applies

Nowadays, scripts often connect to the internet themselves, so after allowing a script domain and refreshing, more associated domains may come up. Just keep unblocking until the website works, and remember to save.
