it's not ready until it works with Nvidia :^)

Gayland

Maybe in 2023, but currently (for gaming ) its DOG SHIT, stutter and poor frame timing. I get 100+ frame yet feels like 30. Some times KDE would reset my refresh rate after locking the screen, so I have to manually change it back every single time. X is still the best for Linux gaming until they allow disabling v-sync.

I've been using it for about a year now. I use Arch. Every other distribution is behind us.

wayland sisters...

>its DOG SHIT,
Probably PEBKAC, I have zero issues on my 165Hz monitor. Not to mention X doesn't support VRR with multiple displays.

It doesn't give me any advantages that I care about. Why would I tear up my working X environment and do a ton of work just to get back to where I started from?

>Wayland is ready.
...ready to go into the trash.

>plebbit

Electron apps work just fine on Wayland on recent KDE, I've literally never used X11 on Kinoite.

It's no surprise KDE works better when the display server isn't written by incompetent KDE devs

XFCe is flawless
