not really surprising it has compatibility with X11 for unix people.
Although to be fair X11 on its own is useless.

Also supports xpra

>beats windows to it 20 years earlier WITHOUT a linux vm
nothing personnel kid

what's that?

looks like some python shit but i don't know the meaning

no OpenGL acceleration though
basically crippled.
I remember when Inkscape was ported as an X client and was nearly unusable

Mac only embraced, extended, and extinguished X11 to tide people over while they enforced switching to the native API by making X11 applications blurry and shitty looking.
And they were correct to do so.
Linux """technology""" is a cancer that only spreads fragmentation, and you better own your compositor if you want to call yourself an OS

They've always had it. Its litterally FreeBSD you turd.

say thanks to john carmack who wrote it

than how 3d games worked in old wine before they added native backend?

Linux is a shit

>litterally FreeBSD
No it isn't. There's some FreeBSD kernel code merged into the hybrid Mach/BSD kernel and some userland stuff along with some from OpenBSD, some old GNU stuff and a few other bits and pieces. But macOS, and NeXTSTEP before it, are very different at all levels, from base kernel code (Mach) all the way up.

Gotta wash your whites separate from your coloreds.

What about Wayland?

kys

Rather poorly. I was there.

why do they both look like demons

>no OpenGL acceleration though
what the fuck are the GLX dylibs in /opt/X11/lib for then?
