Only CRT chads have this privilege, so get one while you still can!11 :^)

a CRT's glow at 85hz is way more comfortable than an LCD/LED's harsh light

this. I had to use two high-end LEDs at work, the bright and weird colors made my eyes unironically hurt. I had to spent almost 100 working hours trying to fix the colors, my manager was seething at me the whole time but he couldn't manage to get me fired. all my CRTs at home feel comfortable even with the factory settings. fortunately I don't work there anymore

I like CRTs as well but there's no need to bullshit. Light is light whether it comes from a phosphor or an LED.

Thanks but I prefer 1600x1200 @ 90Hz

OLED. That is all.

pic related it's an OLED monitor.

Modern-day OLED has too much motion blur (sample&hold issue).

However I kinda want an OLED now just for anime. I've been comparing my Eizo VA and my CRTs and man do I wish I could combine the strengths of them both. The gamut and brightness of the Eizo and contrast of the CRT ...
Need QD-OLED or the RDF225WG :^)

TN/VA viewing angles give me headaches these days. I'm so used to at minimum IPS angles (pref CRT) that I can't stand looking at anything worse.

My laptops TN panel is pure migrane material, awful LED blue glow, 70:1 contrast, 45% sRGB coverage .. just holy uck, I'd much rather use even a 14" 600p60hz CRT from 1991 ..

Thanks but I prefer 1600x1200 @ 110hz

Maybe i'm blind, but i haven't noticed. Could be all those years as an ESL with a CRT glued to my retina.
Or maybe it's just because i don't play games where it's noticeable anymore, i certainly haven't noticed with regular non-gaming desktop use.

It's noticeable even in Terraria and Minecraft
For 60hz: testufo.com/photo#photo=toronto-map.png&pps=600
For 120hz: testufo.com/photo#photo=toronto-map.png&pps=1200
This map will be impossible or at least highly unpleasant to read on a non-BFI OLED/LCD due to sample&hold blur.

For me, it's 1600x1200 @ 60Hz interlaced (thus 120Hz).

I see what you mean, but i'm going to ignore it and pretend it's not there.
I hope i can.

F520-sama... I kneel...

Eurasian Plastic

N-No it's not worth anything!! But I'll take it from you.

Once you see a CRT you wont unsee this issue .. thus we're still here!

I'd love to get one but cant find any for sale where I am.

It's merely 4:3 768p, which was the standard for late-gen consoles.

Since when native resolutions on 10 years old consoles are considered "incredible visuals"? Even then, it's mostly 1080p according to the link.

>play 2d games with black frame insertion on a 360hz lcd monitor, giving a refresh rate of 180hz (higher than any crt) and a resolution of 1920x1080 (higher than any crt)

I don't know shit about CRTs but light is not light. Frequencies matter.
