Falkon

So apparently KDE has its own web browser, and it has just released a new version.

I had heard of Konqueror, but thought that was defunct. Never heard of Falkon until today.

Has anybody here used it? Is it viable?

Let me guess, still no extension support?

is pretty good, I use it when it is imperious that I use Chromium, otherwise I use Librewolf.

It's not garbage but it's not good either.
It just works by default.

this shit is ancient legacy code from 2004 and it looks like garbage too. wtf is that FONT nigga like for real :crying_and_laughing:
and those shitty ICONS lmaoaoaoaoaoaoaoao
>"appearance" and "tabs" use the same fucking icon
>"browsing" and "downloads" use the same fucking icon
some real heavy cost cutting going on at Freetard HQ, no cap

AROS shipping as the default OS for the Vampire is insanely cool.

I tried it after hearing about the new release and scrolling is unbearably laggy, mix that with the lack of proper extensions and an adblocker of varying effectiveness and it's not worth using.

If you have the kde files installed it's only like 2 extra megabytes to get Falkon, so makes sense to install it

I haven't used it, but I am extremely interested. I'm going to try it out tomorrow.
I'm just sick of getting burned by KDE projects that stop getting worked on.

konquerer was absolute shit and still is, i imagine this thing is too

The web itself exists because of kde. Show your respect

Modern ui elements, applications you wouldn't believe, all exist because of kde.

Oh look it updates every 2 years
