What an absolute shit company. Wow. Feel free to share your personal experiences here. Is this common in the tech industry? This is why I just buy everything from Amazon. Amazon doesn't even specialize in this particular industry and it's still worth it for the easy returns.

Opposite here, I always use Newegg and never buy from Amazon because I refuse to become part of the botnet. That said I haven’t had any negative experiences because I never purchase any of the extra shit they push on me like the insurance or do any of the financing shit and never buy bundles.

I use Newegg for hard disks. Last time I ordered a hard disk from Amazon, they sent it in "frustration free" packaging, meaning a loose disk bouncing around inside a box along with some bit of crumpled paper that didn't do jack shit to protect it. Meanwhile Newegg has special hard disk bubble sleeves that properly protect drives in transit.

I sure as fuck know that Newegg isn’t trying to install high frequency radios into every persons doorbell, security camera, smart TV, tv remote and all other electronics they sell so they can establish a network for whatever bullshit scheme they have in mind.
