My 12400F won't past 60 degrees when gayming, but the fan is a bit too loud. Thinking about getting a fuma 2..

I feel stupid. I bought a Ryzen 7 2700x a few years ago thinking it was the newer line because I assumed the 7 meant it was the latest and not the 2.

good to know

What mobo did you get? Also what RAM are you running and what timing? Tell me more about the 12400, its sounds too good to be true.

I can't believe the 3050 prices
This is beyond retarded

Would you recommend 5700G? I want to use it mainly for emulation. What motherboard would you recommend for it? I read that some don't work out of the box/require BIOS update?

I got the mortar B660 and 3200 ram I had leftover from my previous system

Why is there a RX 6700-XT but not a RX 6700?

Depends on what you are emulating.

6th gen and below? Absolutely it will crush it.

7th gen? It should work but expect 30 FPS and maybe sub 1080p.

Arctic Liquid Freezer II :)
of whatever size you like
keeps my 5800x nice n chilly even under full load with just a 120mm rad
get a 240 or 280mm dualfan and never hear it spin up again because PWM pump and quiet ass fans

How much are you looking to spend? If you are willing to spend a bit more the ASUS ROG Strix or even Crosshair are excellent.

Otherwise go with the Tomahawk

Would the RX 6500 XT be a better buy if it had a 96 or 128 bit bus at the same price? Also h264/265 encode.

most b550 boards are updateed by now I think
b450 more likely to be out of luck
b660 gonna b fine

I target 720p/1080p. 30/60FPS.
I am willing to spend more on motherboard, good amp and Realtek ALC1220 is a must.

Hell no

crypto miners should get the wall

Why is there a 2060 but not a 2060Ti?

why is the 6800 the only rdna2 card with a non xt version?

>b450 more likely to be out of luck
just bought an ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II came with a bios for 5th gen apu's

Because there's a 2060 Super

B660 is Intel's chipset.

Why is there a 2060 Super but not a 2060Ti?

Go get one with the X570 chipset. Check on the Motherboard site (or just search on Amazon if you are lazy) what it supports but MOST of the time motherboards are shipped out with some updates already on the BIOS so if it says it supports your CPU it should.

That makes sense there does not need to be an enhanced model for everything, but the RX 6700 does not exist.

neat
just more likely to have an old bios version that doesn't support 5xxx apus since it's older
I'm not sure if there's a list of boards that support them or if you just have to google / pcpp it
and the latest bios version might not be the one you get shipped to you depending on how long it's been sitting on the shelf

There's an enhanced version of the 2060.

I would be very surprised if the APU you plan to buy couldn't emulate 6th gen at full speed considering non-gaming laptops can do it now.

It should honestly be able to do 7th gen stuff as well.

doh
meant b650 or whatever the sucessor to b550 will be called
it's definitely not going to get confusing

It's just the name. Hell, they could have changed the whole naming stack without changing the products themselves. I might have been flippant before but there's really no answer. At least not one that'd be meaningful to an end user.

Even this weaker APU can do emulation easily. If you aren't looking for 1080p at high settings an APU can easily handle anything released before the 9th gen of consoles.

Looks good but I don't know if it fits my case (nzxt h500) so I might just go with the fuma

Honestly I predict like with the 6600 that AMD is going to release a 6700 card as a budget card.

Is this a good deal? It’s the cheapest B660 board bundle and it seems good, but I don’t know if the mobo will shit itself. I just plan on using it for some gaming nothing too intensive.

Asus and others re-released b450/x470 for ryzen 5000 back in late 2020 and 2021. Notice my board is B450-F Gaming II, not version 1?

>II generation of strix b450f was launched after the ryzen 5000, its okay
It looks like ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING II
should work out of the box with 5700G.
Gonna build my first PC with that motherboard.

>cowers away from the leak
>doesn't throw himself onto the leak while giving the power cord the ole' reach around
what a faggot

I would still try to get the X570 if possible or at least go for B550 which is newer.

he did shut it down moments later in a full video
still a faggot

Yeah it's possible. That's one of the reasons they leave holes in the product stack. Under normal circumstances it lets either company get a fresh review cycle when the competition releases something. These days literally anything will sell so there really is no reason. Shit, if they re-released the 380X it'd sell out in minutes.

My 1060 6gb is literally 3x the fucking price I paid for it. It's wild.

Regardless that APU should absolutely handle most of your emulation needs

$250 msrp lmao
