What is the best PC monitor brand/series on the market ? Give arguments

>best PC monitor
Depends on use case scenario

all of them

1080p IPS is a bare minimum, work your way up from there

I love my Eizo FlexScans. A 24 inch 1920x1200 and a 21 inch 1600x1200. Ultra cheap, very sharp, nothing fancy, both currently clocking in at 25.000 hours of use.

Sony.

I would NEVER buy genocidal cannibal island tech.

Samsung for VA
LG for IPS/OLED
Gigabyte for TN

what game?

Benq if you want low input lag and shit image quality.
Dell if you want color calibrated nice looking colors and shit input lag.
LG/Samsung if you want to burn your eyes.
Always buy high end monitors, low end suck.

Sony Trinitron CRTs for video games
>best motion clarity out of any display technology ever
>studio-grade monitor with 1536p resolution
>looks better than any LCD thanks to contrast and quality
Eizo Flexscan LCDs for everything else
>not esports ewaste, quality for LCDs

Based
My S2433W got just 4000 hours of use and my GDM-F520 has 10k

>TN
>ever

CRTs are literally superior in almost every single way except convenience

enjoy getting your eyes fucked by the shit CRT you love so much

Words of a clueless consumerist normie.
CRTs are literally EASIER FOR YOUR EYES when configured properly; running at or above 85hz.
Especially TNs and VAs have headache-inducing viewing angles and the copious sample&hold motion blur makes my eyes ache if I try to play video games on any LCD.
They have played you for an absolute fool, think yourself before repeating marketing FUD

you can get a nice 17" dell 1280x1024 lcd for like $9 from goodwill. spend your savings on something worthwhile like food/ammo

The CRT is not going to be color accurate 20 years after manufacturing. It could blow a cap and start smoking.

It's more color accurate than that Eizo LCD, and the CRT has double the used hours. Enough said.
This monitor cost almost two grand in its heyday, it's the most overengineered piece of hardware I've ever owned.

I like my iiyama no idea if it is the best.

is 16:10 dying? why doesn't anyone make a 16:10 4k monitor?

i was thinking about trying the Mateview.

>CRTs are literally EASIER FOR YOUR EYES
delusional cope

>no arguments whatsoever
like pottery

Dell Ultrasharp
or Asus IPS if on a budget
Everything else is shit

Anyone who's not underage (so that would probably exclude you already) knows CRTs are painful to look at for extended periods of time, regardless of your "muh configuration" cope. I expect another (You)

THat's because your family was poor and you only ever used dogshit CRTs.
I had a 19" Trinitron as a kid, cope and seethe

>cope and seethe
>replies within one minute
I expect another (You), coping poorfag :^)

Dying, more like it's been dead for years unfortunately. I'd fucking love a modern 3840x2400 120Hz+ monitor but I doubt that shit will ever exist. Still 16:9 at 4k isn't so bad, I mean you still have a lot of vertical space anyway. It's a lot worse at low resolutions than it is at high. You can still get 1920x1200 and I think it's still available on some laptops and even tablets, but not really on large, high res monitors anymore.

>muh contrast
>screen is grey even when turned off
You CRT fanboys must be one of the most brain-damaged groups around, how the fuck can you believe your own lies when the very image you post clearly illustrates how your bullshit deviates from reality?
>inb4 noooo turn off the light the light is NOT ALLOWED turn it off we must have absolute darkness you cannot use your PC with a light on!!!!!!!!!!

Seethe
