Why does there need to be a specific compatibility alert tho? I though 64 but programs meant 64 bits of data can be transferred for usage? Since 32 bits is lesser than 64 bits, doesn't that already make a 64 bit program 32 but compatible

x86 doesn't have an 8 bit mode. The platform has always been at least 16 bits.
