Absolute not. If anything, Any Forums was a mark for the new internet.
That faggot reddit co-founder was a avid user (he actually created reddit because he did not support the Any Forums banter, if you believe some older users), in one early interview, Mark said that his goal was to build something complete different from Any Forums.
This was probably the reason why moot was so disappointed. He saw those websites coming out of Any Forums, and became literal billion dollar companies, while his shitty website was advertising fake vaginas for virgins.
The only thing "old" on Any Forums is the design that prioritize function over form.
