If you just want a free server to run some shit on or play around with, most cloud providers will give you some low spec ones for free.
Oracle Cloud currently has the best free offerings: docs.oracle.com
I run most of my stuff on the free 4 cpu 24GB memory ARM server they give you, but the other major clouds will give you free shit too.

p2p is the true multiplayer way, but if for some reason a "basic godot 2D game" needs dedicated servers then use the steam servers, you can implement steamworks without uploading your game yo steam
