cloud, servers, Internet, networks, embedded, mobile, IoT, cars, planes, ships, space stations, even NASA space probes, ...
you can't program for Linux = you are not a programmer

everyone in the open-space uses Ubuntu Linux LTS for their PC/laptop per company policy
you have to get special approval to be given windows computer or a mac
and explain why you need such shit and security issue
Ubuntu LTS is a standard OS for every developer I worked with in every corporation I worked for
some even have their own flavors of Ubuntu
