Absolutely no terminal or text interface. All gui. Tui is bloat and cope for not having good physical awareness. Theming support out of the box. 100% compatibility with Windows programs.

- micro kernel or hybrid
- full desktop and coreutils as a install option or minimal install
- Unix like file structure with some tweaks like removing etc since it has no clear definition
- C style syntax for shell scripts
- everything should be a file more so than even Linux
- display server with UAC like prompt for applications wanting to request screen recording etc
- Minimalist display server like Wayland but no forced vsync or composting
- minimal code like Suckless or OpenBSD
- Good documentation
- GPU acceleration where possible
- multi threading where possible
- source based package management with binaries if needed
- binaries for different revisions of AMD64
- march=native and O3 optimization by default
- a good permissions system ideally like iOS or newer android versions
- AUR like repo for package managemer
- Some kind of sandboxing by default Android already does this well
- a web browser that doesn't suck
- tiled or floating window management both should be equally supported
- easy to use C APIs for doing things like sound etc
- low latency audio
- low latency input
- low latency display
- static linking
- standardize everything if possible

I would focus on simplicity and extensiblity. I think we can actually learn a bit from templeOS: that is, write the core system in Lisp and make the shell = graphical interface a simple text-based format. And the shell would use lisp, of course.
