Even in America, I just went to a state college and ended up with around $40k in loans without any special scholarships or grants. I had it paid off less than a year after graduating, and now I make well over 200k/yr just a couple years later.

Now that I have a year of experience, recruiters are hitting me up for jobs that double my current salary and I have multiple interviews lined up only after a week of setting my Linkedin to "looking for jobs". I was always under the persuasion that because my primary interest is in philosophy and history, pursuing a college degree would be pointless anyway. Not only would I not acquire the scholarly aspect of studying my unique interests by having to stay on a pre-defined curriculum, a degree in those fields would not be impressive to some HR professional. Also, the very nature of a university has changed to the point where it's just a meme-filled trade school. I would rather take loans for a trade school proper if my goal is a job.

Practically speaking, in my attempt to draw closer to God, I joined my local independent fundamental baptist church. A guy there was a Software Architect at a big government contractor, we hit it off. I told him I was trying to break into the field, he made be jump through some hoops and write a project on my own for 6 months and after that he recommended me to his company, vouched for me, and I did so well during the initial interview I got to skip the coding portion and I landed my first job as an intern. I was (am) underpaid like hell, but I will forever be grateful for this man kick-starting my career. I have a year of experience so companies actually take me seriously as a candidate and I get interviews on my own now. I won't even lie to you, getting interviews without my friend's assistance was HELL. But even if he wasn't there, I still believe I could get a job because God was with me. Just like God was with Joseph in Egypt and made him the second highest ruler in the whole nation, God was with me.

The college I went to was top 25 in the US, but even if I went to MIT on a full ride I would still drop out because being brainwashed by trannies isn't worth all the money in the world

Why? Because it's very easy to learn how to code, but it's very hard to learn how to code well. Any idiot can learn python and what a for loop is. But at big companies we are looking for people who understand how to solve hard problems efficiently, who we know have been through a rigorous university and have spent hours coding.

We can't offer to make mistakes and have bad engineers in our teams. It's just easier to hire college grads because they already have a seal of approval from a university.

It was a junior interview, not a tech lead position calm your tits. They also asked me some leetcode easy questions and more advanced topics like optimistic locking.

Regardless, they said I was good enough to be hired as a junior, but since I didn't finish my degree they would only hire me as an intern. So I took the robbery for a year and now I'm applying to jobs with my newfound industry knowledge and now the jobs I'm applying to offer to pay me fairly. I'm sure if I finished college and got a tranny degree, I could have gotten an entry level FAGMAN job, but this way I keep my common sense and integrity and fear of the Lord. And I can always apply to FAGMAN after studying DSA and design for a year

You have a degree (certificate that you can do basic work), your alumni network/professors (people in your school that can refer you) career fairs (employers who GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to go to your school to hire people). University is just easy mode for getting a job. That's all it is.
