Getting a transplant in the US is literally braindead unless your net worth is in the double-digit millions. Decent docs in the US will be 5x the cost as decent ones abroad.

I went on a 2-week vacation across Europe, and even after that and the plane tickets, I still paid less than half of what I'd pay in the US for an amazing transplant.

I just started finasteride. I'll see if I grow hair back over the course of this year and then maybe I'll get a transplant but I would rather spend that money on Canthoplasty and maybe a wrap around jaw implant.

It depends. If you still have some hair on top of your head you take finasteride after the transplant to preserve it. Otherwise you can allow it to fall and get a second transplant. Of course it's not gonna be any less expensive than the last, but that's the price to pay to not be hooked on shady hormone-altering chemicals for life.

Which part of Europe? If it was anywhere near central or norther Europe you got scammed either way.
