That would be wrong. A lot of Renaissance art is quite lewd, and an actual canonized Saint, Thomas Aquinas, wrote out a defense of organized prostitution. Truth is that the Church owning brothels back then isn't really a contradiction at all, they understood full well that men's urges need to be dealt with in a way that doesn't despoil the women who are meant to be our virginal wives and modest mothers. It's not so bad as long as you repent for it later. It was far more recently that certain sects decided that sex is bad and humans have to fuck through a bedsheet so as to not look at their own fucking wife. The only way a system without porn or escorts works is if you get people married very young, like as soon as they hit puberty. That worked for a while back then, the horny teens would just fuck like rabbits from 14 to 18 instead of bothering with popular coping mechanisms, but once you get to our modern era with raised ages of consent and memes like needing to "find yourself" or some shit, then you see women abusing their freedoms to ruin themselves and expecting poor sex-starved young men to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives.
I say this as a devout Christian, we unironically need these things in some form for the good of society. It's bad, but it's less bad than how it is now.

Being exposed to sexual imagery every day is not the evolutionary norm. Let alone at the degree and frequency with which people are exposed today. In the same way people become obese because they are not adapted to the abundance of calorific, processed food in the modern environment, people become hypersexualized though excess exposure to sexual signals in the modern environment.

Stupid, weak, and cowardly people can't handle things like pornography so they assume other people can't either. These bogus terms are part of ego-driven crusades by losers to "fight" the thing that did so much damage to them (often claiming so it won't hurt others, but they're really doing it to avenge themselves).

If you think porn harmed you, you either saw it way too early or you're an addict with no self control. Porn is great, it's one of the fun things about being a human. Savor it.
