Isabelle Briggs-Myres edition Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an introspective self-report questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. The test attempts to assign four categories: introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, judging or perceiving.
>Thread questions Isabel Briggs Myers has for many years been the "face" of mbti. What do you think of her? Has she had a positive impact on psychology, or even the system she co-created?
The last thread surely was very "intuitive" But anyway, don't look for a specific, tangible form of intuition because Jung already told you it doesn't exist. And intuition can appear behind thinking, feeling and even sensation.

Sounds like a copout to me. Would you say this is something that could be improved upon by solidifying intuition as a concept? I like my definition of seeing things that aren't real.
>Would you say this is something that could be improved upon by solidifying intuition as a concept? All it does is making people miss its essence and turn it too much into a specific function pair. Very often the definition of intuition is mixed with thinking, because it always sounds like it's looking for possible rational ideas/explanations, "truths" and patterns, which would only really be how NT types use it because it's paired with thinking.

I'm not sure. I haven't read any of her work. I've been meaning to read Psychological Types though, or at least listen to an Audio Book of it.

So... a possibly ESTJ, hmm?
My lord, this nightmare will ever end, but I am quite happy with the idea of me being ESTJ, as I always want to be a Te dom, as Te doms are perhaps the most successful of types.

>be extravert who mainly uses Intuition >think about potential of people and things around me
>be introvert who mainly uses Intuition >suddenly magic man who has visions of everything through metaphorical mental imagery There are people who actually believe this.

>What do you think of her? Has she had a positive impact on psychology, or even the system she co-created? i don't care. i just like the loose concept of functions.
How do inferior Fi and tertiary Se/Ne look like in real life?

Heh. You are like a child toying in the mud. I feel sorry for you, all that looking up to the resplendent glamour that is my correspondence with the soul dimension itself. Maybe one day, kid!
