How do I cope with the fact I'm most likely going to be working a dead-end job for the rest of my life soon?

roughly where do you live?
Your wage sustains me
Mississippi
Epic, I am a diagnooosed autist but I couldn't get disability
Mississippi? Shit son that sucks. I'd recommend an apprenticeship for something like HVAC.
If you've completely given up do everything you can to save money.
Live with parents, don't drive a car or use public transport unless you have to, don't buy things you don't need learn to entertain yourself with free things.
Above all else DO NOT GET INTO A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP, EVEN WHEN YOU GET OLDER AND MORE DESPERATE, THIS IS BY FAR THE BIGGEST WAY TO LOSE MONEY.
This way after your parents are gone and you've got your inheritence you can figure out how long you need to keep working before you can more or less support yourself until you die then stop working as soon as possible.
It's all about pain and risk minimisation at this point. You'll never be happy but you don't have to be miserable forever either.
don't listen to this man OP. Find some lonely older divorcee who wants a young boy toy.
Unless you're a fatass. Then yes, ignore women and get your shit together first.
Yeah man born and raised here.. I'm 21 and been at a 2 year college for almost 3 years now because I'm a retard at math majoring in CS.
My sisters boyfriend does HVAC and I helped him before on it but he's a smartass. Worked in factories for several months and its the most depressing shit so I'd rather not go back to that. An hour drive away from major retailers like Walmart and I'm terrible at driving so im kinda fucked.
If autism doesn't cut it, fake being an alcoholic
No shame in changing your major brah.
I was stuck in the engineering hall because they didn't know where to put people with my major, and I saw lots of them change majors because of the math. Better to have any degree than no degree.
I don't want to be a nigger and fake something like that to live off the system, I'm not like that. Especially since I refuse to drink alcohol anyway. I didn't even try to get it, my mom tried to get it for me, so maybe I should try again since its been almost a decade since.
True, I always wanted to get into IT but it all requires lots of math so I might just have to give up my passions for something practical though I worry about my performance in those fields
>my passions
give up on bullshit right now. Rare as fuck in this godforsaken world is the person who has a career that is his passion. So just forget about that guidance counselor bullshit.
Find something you can tolerate that pays well and doesn't burn you out.
>I always wanted to get into IT but it all requires lots of math
IT involves like no math.
>don't want to be a nigger
Suit yourself, be the cuck whytoid wagie working for nigger welfare
most jobs don't make you use all of what you had to do for the degree. I haven't ever had to do Gram staining or D value calculations since college, but I was really damn good at both.
>IT involves like no math
Tell this to my college, where CS and MIS degrees require 3-4 levels of Algebra before you can get the degree
>fight the niggers by being a nigger
This is bullshit and it's hard to get welfare if you're not black.
algebra in college? did you drop out of high school or something?
No I graduated but had D's and C's in math throughout HS so they probably know I'm a retard
I mix and match Algebra with math in general a lot so really I think its Beginning Algebra -> Intermediate Algebra -> Calculus or something
so they're making you do remediation. I recommend youtube since there's some great videos out there on how to understand the math and not just memorize the steps.
I was mediocre at math but I got through college calc with an approach like that.
Get an education and get a better job, idiot.
>take on tens of thousands of debt that you'll never pay off.
college isn't for everyone shit-for-brains. OP is clearly not an academic. His best hope is to become skilled at something like installing windows or welding or plumbling.
