it depends how good you are to start off
most good artists just immediately know how to do it their whole life no problem
others that aren't great but also aren't bad can learn pretty fast
but i think if you just don't have the talent that it will either take years of constant practice or you just can never do it
i've always loved art and always was in art classes but my skills never seemed to improve at all, only my motor skills as i got older

With a couple of months of practice you can make surprisingly acceptable drawings, but you have to be somewhat consistent, and be constantly pushing yourself to do more and more difficult things which might be draining. I'm a 3d animator and it's hard to fap to my own content, even when I have a decent following already. Maybe it's different for drawings, but I wouldn't count on that

Also learn figure drawing instead of starting with anime. Figure drawing is the base for drawing something resembling a human, and switching to anime is as simple as drawing the eyes bigger and making it LESS detailed anatomically. But without the understanding of the figure you wont get anywhere
