Dude just get whatever cert you need to get into the area you want, most people you'll work with are turbo-normies who can't troubleshoot anything either way so worst case scenario you'll be a "regular" IT guy, each team will have one or two autists like me who'll only do high prio stuff and you don't want that cause it's just more work

I work in a store that sells a variety of niche shit but primarily table top stuff. the worst we get the occasional 14yr old girl with dyed hair who wants to try dnd because of stranger things but even they're not that big of a deal and they're actually really easy to rush out of the store or we'll have sperg out during one of the sessions and I'll have to wrangle the fatass. overall good store and good pay.

Depends on what area but you could get a job with CCNA for example, no not some fucking 200k job but a normal job yes, then if you're smart you take the next cert and get more money and if you're lucky the company you work for will pay for it. Entry level certs are usually very reasonably priced and most people should be able to get them but the more advanced certs you kinda need a company to pay for since some of those are several thousands of dollars.
