How bad will alochol withdrawl be after 6 month of 20-30 drinks a day?

Just asking cause I currently live in Japan and the only rehab center that will take me is in the US. It typicallly takes 2-3 days to travel between Okinawa and the continental US. Am I gonna die from withdrawl during flight?

Do you get shakes without it? How dependent are you on alcohol?

Your gonna die living in Japan bro

>6 months
>20-30 drinks a day
What the fuck

I'm super weak when I wake up. I get hand temors. Recently I've started halluciinating in the middle of the night. I hear screaming, phone ringing when it really isnt. Sometimes I wake up unable to move or speak while a being of light dances about my room.

I think I'm fucked. I'm gonna die.

I just started drinking cause I couldn't sleep but I started using it as a replacement for SSRIs. I'm completely, ireversably fucked. I'm actually gonna die

Most planes actually serve alcohol and other canned drinks so you could still have a couple 5 dollar beers during the flight
You could also try phenibut to reduce WDs and cravings (might be legal in Japan, idk) but phenibut is another thing that has major abuse potential

Maybe you can buy something at the duty free and take it on board?
You can do this, user

Yeah only problem is I'm 20. I can start drinking in Japan but after I cross into the US I can't drink anymore. Military flights are bad especiallf from over seas. There are multiple holding areas and layovers. Last time I went back home I slept on the floor of an Air material command room for 6 hours.

user, you don't need a rehab center but a detox center. They'll give you meds to mitigate the side effects of coming down from your bender. You can get through this, user.

Thats the problem. I'm stationed in Japan as a US soldier. I have to go back to the US because no japanese facility will take me. My commander has sent me back for substance abuse disorder and major depression. I have no choice because I am being ordered to.

Get a doctor on your base to prescribe some benzos for the trip. It'll keep you from dying.

You just gotta be smart in the interim. Get some sort of booze to bring with you on the flight, or get some on the flight itself. Once you make it to the detox/rehab center, they will not deny you alcohol if you're getting withdrawal symptoms. It doesn't matter what your age is at that point, because alcohol withdrawal is extremely dangerous. Anything they give you, including alcohol, is considered to be necessary medication. You're not the first soldier to have this problem. Like, not even close to being the first. This is something you can do, you just have to make it home and get to the center. Just focus your attention around getting there alive.

Look into phenibut then, I wouldn't call it a cure but it'll definitely curb the amount you drink
It's a drug that acts on much of the same gaba receptors as alcohol but the effect you get is quite different.
iirc it was initially developed as a medication in Russia (for addiction or anxiety or w/e) but you can buy it over the counter/online in the US (they even used to sell it on Amazon years ago until it got cracked down on for being too druggy)
Might be available in Japan, idk
I haven't used phenibut in a few years since it's very insidious in nature (just like alcohol)

Shit, being in the military makes it more challenging. All right, user. Memorize this: breathe in to the count of 4, breath out to the count of 4. If the withdrawals get severe, close your eyes and do that. Try to keep your BAC up. Be open about your problem because you might need help to get home.

Yeah. I do that exact breathing exercise before shooting or if I need to calm down while wearing my gas mask. I'm gonna ask If I can spend them night in the ER before I fly home.

I leave in 4 days or so. I don't think thats enough time for the perscription to go through but I will ask my doctor tommorw.

Definitely bro. You're gonna need barbiturates or benzodiazepines for the plane. Call your general practitioner and tell him you want to start detoxing with oxazepam.

>20-30 drinks a day
How are you still alive lmao

Aw man, at least you get high-grade booze in there. All kinds of japanese booze is top notch. As for your withdrawal, it's gonna be hard. At least two weeks of a lot of restrain and mental strenght. After that it tends to get easier, relapse would be fatal at this point. BUT, I would kill myself with alcohol poisoning, fuck sobriety.

>At least two weeks of a lot of restrain and mental strenght
2 weeks of laying in bed and binging anime, got it
