>mfw seeing people go insane from politics
There is literally zero reason to care about politics if you don't profit from it. If you're a politician, a mogul, a lobbyist, that's fine. If you're just some rando it's a complete waste of time, it doesn't matter how well thought out your positions are, you are irrelevant. Even the SJWs BTFO youtuber grifters are better off than you because at least they are making money.
Meanwhile you spend time on this shit, getting stressed and aging prematurely... for what?
Mfw seeing people go insane from politics
if you are charismatic you get paid to tell people how to think, and after telling enough of them you rule the world
I used to care about politics so much like 5 years ago lmao, then I realized that shit just makes me feel bad and hopeless and ever since I gave a fuck and stopped completely checking the news, I've been living a blissfully ignorant life. I gain nothing from caring, and if something's that important that EVERYONE must know and care, like war on my doorsteps, it'll reach me anyways.
or maybe you just have empathy for others who suffer?
>just ignore everything bro
>Wait why are there bugs in my food
>Why am I paying more for things
>Why am I losing my job to some ESL beaner
>Why is everyone hostile
>Why is everything shit
>Why are they blaming me
Fucking faggot bitch go jump off a cliff you cocksucker.
You are right, caring about politics within the confines of a narrative put forward by anyone in power or who has a stake in the current power structure is a waist of energy and time. Caring about emanating yourself and the human race from the tyranny of the status quo is not a waist of time or energy. Only through direct political action can the working class better their situation and overcome oppression by the ruling and owning class.
Politics is fucking gay and stupid and a massive cope.
>He thinks the average actively political person is doing it out of empathy
Fucking lol
This green text but use all the commie memes instead of the ethno nationalist ones.
Lack of empathy during hardship is one vector on the misery index. Look it up. A good study of how peoples thinking changes furring hardship is Japan in the early 2000s when they had their recession.
You can care if you want but it won't change a thing. The opinion of plebs is factually irrelevant. It always has been, we only stopped pretending it wasn't.
Communist kikes are unironically promoting this shit.plesse at least try to pay attention
>Pay attention bro
>posts blatantly wrong shit
>Why am I losing my job to some ESL beaner
>dis nigga workin minimum wage!
Get an education retard
Everything is going the way the globalist Jews want. Constantly arguing
or with some, a superiority complex that needs to be fueled by telling others they're wrong
Get deez nuts, fag
I used to read a lot more than I do nowadays, I used to want to actively contribute to discussions, but it never amounted to anything.
Online political discourse is so fucking horrible. People will quote text, name a few obscure theories, and write several paragraphs filled with jargon. The only way to discuss things with them is to match them at their level.
So, I'd sit and read and read and makes notes and read. Once you're at that level it's just a cat-and-mouse game with some theatrics and word play.
rl political discourse is better because people are totally blunt and concrete, but they're understandably not as open as they would be online, so it's hard to gauge their views or where they're at.
tl;dr: it is a waste of time if you want to 'change the world', because it does nothing. I have never once seen anybody change their mind from a discussion, they just reinforce and regurgitate talking points until they're frustrated.
I think being well informed and well read is good and all, but it is consuming and doesn't really yield anything beneficial, at least materially.
wow, that's a red pill and a half
>People will quote text, name a few obscure theories, and write several paragraphs filled with jargon
The solution to that is to just say no to them. Or tell them that you refuse to read their stupid shit. Arguing with idiots is a hobby of mine. My only goal is to make them angry. I don't want to change their mind, the minds of anyone reading the argument, or make the world a better place. I just want to make people with wrong opinions get mad at the computer screen.
>The solution to that is to just say no to them.
that's kind of where I'm at user, but Im sure you also went through a similar predicament?
"zeal of the recently converted" basically, I wanted to discuss everything I read with anyone interested, it felt like I was doing something productive because I learned from them, and soon enough, they were learning from me. It's sort of an insidious 'hobby' because you do learn a lot, you read a lot, and think about really minute shit a lot, so you think this time is being put to good use, but one day youre confronted with the reality that no one actually cared to change their minds, and then it hits you that you really never cared to change yours either after a few books in your preferred ideas.
>My only goal is to make them angry.
yeah you would've had a field day with me a few years ago.
>but Im sure you also went through a similar predicament?
I didn't really. I grew up on image boards, I never thought I was going to change anyone's minds. It's different in real life where I kind of expect a discussion to be mutually productive.
>yeah you would've had a field day with me a few years ago.
I actually try to engage people in good faith if it seems like they're doing the same, but that's really rare especially on here. Most people on this board are either trolling or so ideologically aligned that there's no way to reach them.
>WAH WAH YOU HAVE TO CARE ABOUT MY MADE UP SHIZO SHIT
>NOOOOOOOOO
>STOP BEING HAPPY
>BE A MISERABLE FAGGOT LIKE MEEEE
Well OP, you see, I'm an oligarch and I hate my family of oligarch so I voted for the leftist candidate :)
what are ur politics what do u guys believe i am a race realist an isolationist and an economic socialist
>I grew up on image boards
ah, that's probably the difference. I was a forum kiddie, people were a lot more serious there.
>expect a discussion to be mutually productive
you'd think that, but rl discussions are usually just emotional and equally theatrical.
I don't regret the years I spent typing up essays to post into the void, but it certainly wasn't productive in the way i'd like.
