CAREER CENTERS

why are these fucking places so useless
>bro how are you NEET? Just get a job, it's so easy. go to a career center bro
are normies saying "just get a job" trolling? it's difficult as shit

Getting a job is definitely easier than acquiring NEETbux. At least in the US

They want to get you out of their hair while also feeling like they're helping.

>learn to code
>get a job
It's that easy.

>Getting a job is definitely easier than acquiring NEETbux. At least in the US
i don't get NEETbux. it's impossible for me, i know. but a job seems to be nearly as difficult
"not as difficult as impossible" doesn't mean much

no it's not. i learned to code and have 8 YoE doing it. still can't get hired. i think the indian recruiters are cockblocking me

Have you considered temp agencies? I went to them after having no luck through other venues

>i learned to code and have 8 YoE doing it
Contact any FAGMAN company and tell them you want an SDE position. Go through the interview process, get a job. If you are proficient at coding, you are in. No portfolio needed, nothing.
If you are not confident about the interview process, google it, read Cracking the Code, learn algorithms and system design (there's another book by the same author for that) and you are done.
And that's a high-end job. For anything else, having a portfolio and being able to prove that you can code is enough.
And don't come with that shit that indians are cucking you, I interview for FAGMAN and we need people you retarded lazy ass fucker.

>Have you considered temp agencies? I went to them after having no luck through other venues
what's the difference between a temp agency and an employment career resource center? wouldn't they be the same thing

>bro just apply to jobs and you'll get one
you think i haven't been doing that for months straight?

>I interview for FAGMAN
how do i get a job then? i've been applying and literally fucking nothing. and the recruiters are full of shit every time

I literally told you what to do. Why are you asking this question? lmao.
Recruiters don't matter whatsoever. Are you in buttfuck nowhere? Apply for a job somewhere else.

what positions are you applying to? you realize even with 8 yoe of coding you still need an entry level job to prove you can do shit right? work in retail for a few months then go to helpdesk for a few months and then go further.

>I literally told you what to do. Why are you asking this question? lmao.
you told me to apply places, which i have been doing

>Recruiters don't matter whatsoever.
that's how i got my last job

>Are you in buttfuck nowhere?
i guess

>Apply for a job somewhere else.
i don't really apply to jobs around here because there really isn't anything

>what positions are you applying to?
basically anything
>you realize even with 8 yoe of coding you still need an entry level job to prove you can do shit right?
yes i have been mostly applying to entry level
> work in retail for a few months then go to helpdesk for a few months and then go further.
i've been applying to these $10/hr jobs as well. no luck

I know for sure they are hiring people in Seattle, Dublin, Berlin and Stockholm for FAGMAN companies. Apply there.

i can't work outside of the US but yeah i'll apply to stuff in seattle. again.
but you do understand that i've been applying to jobs for months, so being told "just apply to jobs lol" is not any different to me than "just get a job lol"
i applied to at least 30 jobs just today

>i can't work outside of the US
They will handle VISA for you. Just apply nigger.

i can't leave the country, there are things i have to be here for
and don't you think it's a bit absurd that your advice to getting a job is to leave the USA completely? 10s of millions of people immigrated into the USA for the purpose of employment. it's the 3rd most populous country in the world, how is the answer just getting up and leaving all of my stuff?

I drop out of uni then work as a Wirtgen mechanical technician trainee in my uncle's company for few months but can't handle the tough work and a bunch of alcohol addicted colleagues then i apply as web developer despite only knowing basic coding and OOP. They hired me as a trainee and willing to teach me (desu i learn things myself and they gave me problems to solve just like back in uni). Try to look out more, especially small company, you want a job to get experience

>i apply as web developer despite only knowing basic coding and OOP.
where?

>Try to look out more, especially small company, you want a job to get experience
i want a job, i have 8 years of experience already. an entry level job would be fine. did you get paid over $40k?

My advice includes US. Dude just read the two books and study a bit and apply for them, they really need people.

i want a job, i have 8 years of experience already. an entry level job would be fine. did you get paid over $40k?
Not even close since i live in 3rd world shithole but im willing to get by with very low wage at first just to have a chance to learn. I think you shouldn't think about money now on focus on getting the job, even if they don't pay you because they won't take your 8 years experience seriously unless you made some bonking projects as freelancer or work in company

>focus on getting the job, even if they don't pay you
wat? jobs are when people pay you

"If you can do the work"

they don't even give me a chance to do the work

Srly what did you say in the interview that they don't even hire you for free?

>what did you say in the interview
what interview?

>they don't even hire you for free
that's not a real thing dude
