Well their both Narcissists so....

they fell for the "if you work hard and do good in school you'll be successful meme"

I wasted my formative years studying and getting good grades meanwhile all the kids that joined clubs, played sports, partied in college, made friends, and networked ended up more successful, earn more money, live more fulfilling lives, and have gfs

meanwhile here I am doing jack shit

To be fair, it wasn't a meme for them. Education and labor has changed.

thats the whole point...

they're "out of touch" because they still think the world today is the same as it was 40 years ago and that the same rules apply

>To be fair, it wasn't a meme for them
Nerd defending nerds

>Grown children: 'Noooo!'
*manchildren
All this stuff is way more worth than anything this stupid brats buy. Why wouldn't you want to drink out of nice crystal glasses? But no, keep jerking off to your cheap Ikea glasses, faggot.

I get that they're out of touch, I'm just saying they didn't "fall for" anything; it literal was true in their time.

no u fggt

Can you imagine today's incels trying to give their kids their fucking starwars collection? Cringe. And good thing they will never reproduce

reddit boys inheriting my funko pops...

>Why wouldn't you want to drink out of nice crystal glasses?
Why would I want to? It makes no difference.

Well. It does not really have any transformative value. Health benefits. Or really any type of benefits. Only vanity benefits and rarity, which is actual value but modern people value that value less in today's world, which I think is a good thing.

It is bit... Well. Still I think we should not waste on this opportunity. We should keep this value and translate it directly to currency. Treat these shit objects like some form of crypto currency. Claim that each mug is 10000 dollars and then funnel money out from people that got more kapital. Distributing their over inflated inherited kapital among each other and thus achieving form of socialism that is pretty pop among kids these days and I feel also that it is way for future.
Alone and on their own these glassware are pretty shit no offense.

Damn same here. Spent all of middle and high school slaving away for good grades. I got into and graduated from a good uni, but now I'm in my mid 20s and a neet living at home. I wish they let me be a normal teen but they were so strict it was basically impossible.

I don't get this article, why wouldn't you just take the stuff and sell it, besides, won't you inherit your parents home anyway and then have the room for it?

>why not sell it
Probably vecause the collector spent a lot of time and money collecting, and they want their prole to keep doing it and be proud of it

>Why would I want to? It makes no difference.
It does, it tastes better and is an overall better experience.
Plastic, glass, crystal glass, if it's hand made or not, it all affects the taste.

I mean, who cares what they want if you inherit it after they're dead.

A lot of it is worthless junk, you've gotta luck out to have had a boomer parent that collected valuable limited print coins or whatever

Is that achievable natty bros

None of this stuff is ever worth shit. There may be an item or two worth listing on ebay but most of the time it's garden sale core

Taste is only affected if the liquid stays in the vessel for a very long time. In other words the material of the cup or glass you drink from makes no difference.
>if it's hand made or not
How is it possible to entertain such idiotic superstitions in the 21st century?

I tried to give my daughter my Pokemon cards. She ripped them up in front of me. Her mom laughed and I ran outside screaming in the yard punching the ground.

There is no such thing as a kid who doesn't like pokemon

it seems so

>has a daughter
>still values Pokemon cards
bruh....

What? I liked pokemon and even I didn't like pokemon

I own one cup which serves as cup, glass and ashtray get on my level
