Please do not post in this thread. Or if you do, please do so anonymously. You all have made /mbti/ utterly unusable lately. You've cannibalized these threads so much that we spend more time discussing all of you than function theory. It ends now.
With that said, thread questions.
>your type >would you rather be a different type? >what do you think are the most useful functions? >do you think Myers improved upon Jung's work, or did she make MBTI worse than it was before?
>your type INTP >would you rather be a different type? No. I am content with my functioning, how it is labelled does not concern me. >what do you think are the most useful functions? Ni, Ti, Te. In that order. >do you think Myers improved upon Jung's work, or did she make MBTI worse than it was before? Jung threw a lot against the wall to see what stuck. MBTI picks the most relatable parts. They are qualitatively on par. I find both deficient.

>>your type INTJ >>would you rather be a different type? Nah >>what do you think are the most useful functions? You need to ascend to VNDERSTAND they're all deeply interconnected and with proper use they all lead to the same goal >>do you think Myers improved upon Jung's work, or did she make MBTI worse than it was before? Both
>retarded attention whore "regulars" >Please do not post in this thread. Or if you do, please do so anonymously. You all have made /mbti/ utterly unusable lately and whoever is too personally invested into their persona can go just make a separate /mbtir/ or something instead of shitting up this place

>your type INTP >would you rather be a different type? Nope.avi >what do you think are the most useful functions? I find it similar to ecology, where almost everyone has a niche function/competence, and problems arise from trying to "make a creature work outside it's niche" >do you think Myers improved upon Jung's work, or did she make MBTI worse than it was before? She just simplified it to be honest, created a system based on the combination of Jung's factors and tried to see how they interact with each other. Sure, on some circles it might have been reduced to astrology tier shit like ""Teeeheee I'm ESFJ can't help it XD" but any kind of classification of human groups leads to that.
>Please do not post in this thread. Or if you do, please do so anonymously. You all have made /mbti/ utterly unusable lately. Shut your cunt flaps you fucking whiny lil bitch >It ends now. What you gonna do about it, chief? Keep crying like a fag and see if that does anything lmao

I've answered very similar questions before but I can't remember my exact answers so..
>>your type INTJ >>would you rather be a different type? Would be an interesting experiment. Jung did say that type can change over the course of your life but I wonder just how far it can really go. He personally went from having auxliary Sensation to Intuition it seems. That's assuming he typed himself properly in the first place. >>what do you think are the most useful functions? Depends on circumstance, there is no general answer. >>do you think Myers improved upon Jung's work, or did she make MBTI worse than it was before? MBTI was originally a more accessible version of Jung typology combined with other things that might or might not match(e.g. the J/P dichotomy isn't really Jungian and very loosely matches with rational/irrational types), but it was only later that things got worse. Grant and Beebe might have done much more damage overall by introducing the infamous stack teories, and the latter introduced shadow functions.
Ethan Morris
We bullied Sophie away and he stayed gone for a long time. We can do the same thing with every single regular here.
Wyatt Hill
>the latter introduced shadow functions IMO it's an improvement over MBTI theory but not Jungian theory
Jackson Gomez
>your type INTJ >would you rather be a different type? No, but if I had to ENTP would be nice >what do you think are the most useful functions? Intuition by far >do you think Myers improved upon Jung's work, or did she make MBTI worse than it was before? Not really but it wasn't in a sense better
>but if I had to ENTP would be nice Funny since ENTP is INTJ shadow and vice versa
Kayden Collins
Shadow functions, and the memes about inferior functions have no basis and are stupid.
Jack Taylor
Well one of shadows, but you get what I mean
Robert Brown
The only credit I can give to shadow functions is exposing a certain issue with the Grant stack and making people notice they can use functions both ways.
But also this. Inferior function isn't really a meme in itself though.
Benjamin Stewart
>your type Isxp >different type? I think I'd rather be an estp >did myers improve I don't think this would be as popular as it is without the meme letters so yes myers improved it's popularity
>useful functions Tie between Se and Te and then Ne for ideas
Matthew Harris
>>your type INFP >>would you rather be a different type? Not really, but maybe being an ISFJ would be nice, then I could just be comfy and not have to worry about feeding my Ne with new shit all the time. >>what do you think are the most useful functions? In my personal opinion, Ni and Fi, maybe. >>do you think Myers improved upon Jung's work, or did she make MBTI worse than it was before? No clue, I don't know enough about how Jung's original types worked.
Christian Turner
who the fuck is we, nigger?
Jayden Reed
>would you rather be a different type? No >what do you think are the most useful functions? Based: Ni, Ne, Ti, Te Okay: Fi, Se Shit: Fe, Si
