Knows that certain people are going to hell if they're brought into the world

cope harder sodomite
it's almost as if God wants to see who is truly worthy of his kingdom and who is truly worthy of damnation after he endured the most painful experience in world history to save those who are worthy.
The sooner you realize the abrahamic religions are literal slavemaster cults the more everything about them makes sense.
Based. No refunds, sodomite.
God doesn't need to see who's worthy he already knows. The Book of Life is already written.
>know youre going to hell
>dont try to stop it
Stay classy humanity
He's saying that God already knows who's going to hell and who isn't before they're even born. Because god already knows everything. Meaning that your entire life and all your choices are already known, so there's no way for you to actually avoid hell. You cannot deviate from what god already knows is going to happen.
He's the architect of the universe, and set things up so that some people would go to heaven and others would go to hell.
It's the existential equivalent of pushing someone in front of a moving bus and blaming them for getting run over.
Oh I'm straight alright.
You however are the ones worshipping a big giant asshole.
seems pretty gay.
It's God's fault humanity exists in the first place.
Nah, more-so it's a father raising many children, and letting them make their own decisions instead of making them mindless slaves that are forced to obey his command.
>more-so it's a father raising many children, and letting them make their own decisions
Except he already knows what decisions they're going to make and which ones will end up burning in hell, the moment he creates them.
It excuses you from any personal responsibility of your shitty behavior though, doesn't it?
God turns away from his creation many times in the scriptures. When he created Adam and Eve he chose to look away to let them have free will. That's why he didn't know they ate from the tree until he saw them covering their bodies and asked "what happened? Why are you hiding yourselves?"
I think a lot of arguments against God are simply ignorance, 99% of the time they aren't even accurate to what the scriptures say and can easily be answered by opening up The Bible instead of making some snide comment.
I thought maybe the point of Genesis was that assuming fleshed form necessarily entails coming to experience both good and evil. And the Bible does have Jesus literally dying and rising again to redeem us, so there's that.
>Literally told how to avoid hell
>"No but i hate God >:("
you deserve it lmao.

Not even remotely comparable.
Earthly fathers want the best for their kids, but don't have the foresight to know everything bad thing that's going to happen to them.
God has the foresight to know who is and isn't going to burn in hell for eternity.
This foresight also makes God responsible for every bad thing that's ever happened in the universe.
At the end of the day, he could have either made a universe without suffering or nothing at all.
God gave us free will because he has free will and made us in his image. He wants to test us and see who is truly worthy of his Kingdom and who is not.
If you can't find it in your heart to simply humble yourself and place your faith in Christ for salvation, you're truly worthy of damnation in the eyes of God.
What is stopping you from simply confessing to Christ that you accept his offer of salvation? That's literally all you need to do. No money required. That's why it's such a perfect test, only somebody truly unworthy of Heaven would be unable to humble themselves and say "okay, Jesus, I accept your offer of salvation. See you when it's my time to go."
You'd have to be either extremely prideful, wicked, or retarded to reject this free offer.
literally this, it takes 10 seconds to be saved for eternal life and really mean it and to change your way of life, people just don't want it, it's their choice
Oh yeah? What if I've accepted jesus in my heart but still practice white magick? will god accept me then?
So God isn't omniscient is what you're saying?
Exactly. Victim culture comes directly from christianity.
All sins are forgiven if you're genuinely faithful to Christ, but the Bible says that when you GENUINELY place your faith in Christ for salvation, your heart will change and you'll want to repent and stop doing things that are not pleasing to God.
God knows your heart, so maybe you can genuinely be faithful and still practice white magick, but there's a good chance down the line you'll summon an evil spirit and regret it. I can't predict the future, though. When I got saved I still practiced rituals involving hallucinogens and sigil magic but had a bad experience and quickly went to prayer and repented. I recommend looking into Christian mysticism, a good into is the 14th century book The Cloud of Unknowing.
I disagree, I see most people partaking in victim culture as non-religious liberals / atheists who are spouting the "Christian fascism" meme.
So it wasn't love or duty that motivated you, but fear? I suppose that could indeed change a mans heart.
Anyways, not trying to bust your balls here. I'm sure you're a good guy. Thank you for the reccomendation.
>free will
The existence of free will isn't worth making a world where eternal damnation is a consequence.
It's certainly not that fucking easy.
You can say that you believe in God and confess your sins, but are you doing so in good faith?
There's no way to check if you are given the act of being convinced of a truth is a mental process that you can't see with your own eyes.
Christians will often try adopt a lifestyle in order to convince themselves that a tangible part of their lives has changed; done in order to reinforce their faith.
not the guy you replied to
>it wasn't love or duty that motivated you but fear?
i became a christian because i don't want to involve myself with people, everyone is just doing bad things
>if you were truly good, you would also become a christian and not get involve with whatever the WORLD is doing
Trolling le Jesus style!
No not really fear, I lost my fear of death after my first DMT breakthrough. This experience also made me lose interest in worldliness, i.e. achieving fame, wealth, status, lots of sex, fancy things, etc. I became very meek after this experience and more spiritual focused. I also quit masturbating around this time.
then I started learning more about Christ from a non-biased perspective, I never had religious parents or any Christian pressure in my life, I just found the idea of Christ interesting and wanted to learn more about him. Everything he said and did really resonated with me, and I always had an undeniable feeling that God exists through my life, then two and two clicked. It was like a lightbulb turned on. The whole time growing up the divine feeling that kept insisting to be part of my life was the Holy Spirit, which Christ sent to us. It's like an immaterial guide that's always with you.
Imagine you're in a burning building. A firefighter comes in and yells to you "Come with me! I'll save you! Do not go out the door behind you, you'll die!" do you go with the firefighter? or do you go into the door behind you?
It costs nothing to go with the firefighter, he's offering you help for free. Why say no?
>It's certainly not that fucking easy.

you don't know what you're talking about, people repent after they read the bible and change their ways, people repent after they hear testimonys, sermons, etc and after they get salvation, they read their bible and change their way of life
and they will do this if they actually mean it
