is it true that if you don't have social media, normies think you're insane?
Don't have any social media
I honestly think its becoming more common to turn away from social media, at least like using your real name and shit
just make a throwaway twitter or something if that's your in with a girl
Yup. And dating is basically out, no normie woman will date a guy with no socials.
i don't know any girls. i haven't met one in like a year
>no normie woman will date a guy with no socials
is that where people meet?
Idk nobody I work with really uses social media. One guy I know uses reddit but that's it. None of my friends have social media either. Everyone I work with is male though so idk if that correlates.
A few years back I heard hiring officials considered it a red flag if you didn't have any social media. Doesn't seem like much of an issue if you work for the federal sector.
then why do you give a fuck about what people think about your social media preference? unironically
Sometimes, but even if you meet in person girls will still ask for it so they can check you out
>hiring officials considered it a red flag if you didn't have any social media
that might explain why i can't get a job
>people think about your social media preference
literally nobody thinks about it
that's my point fuckass
These days jobs issues are moreso caused by a combination of nepotism and looking for specific resume formats to filter people out. AI's even being used by some companies these days. You might find luck at a mom and pop shop.
>even if you meet in person girls
i don't
>You might find luck at a mom and pop shop.
i tried some of them. they usually only hire women, but one place said i was overqualified and the other said i didn't seem excited enough WTF ever that means
Overqualified from what I know translates to they fear you'll drop them for something better. Arguably not excited enough is in a similar vein, don't kiss enough ass and they fear you'll drop ship at a moments notice.
Maybe not insane but they do see you as an oddity. It's kind of amusing watching someone who is trying to endear themselves to you slowly run out of options because there is no way to contact you outside of the conversation you are having at that very moment.
not really. maybe a few years ago, but more and more people are dropping social media altogether.
>AI's even being used by some companies these days
I'm looking for a new job right now, and a couple places had a pre-interview with a chatbot.
what could have been a five minute phone call turned into 20 minutes of me waiting for the shitty ass pajeet AI think of a response.
i literally can't get a job anywhere though
seems like people think i'm more employable than i am
They assume you are a racist.
It's definitely weird and I've asked normal friends about it.
One girl genuinely was curious about what I do with my life if I don't use a phone. (Woman way of viewing life is retarded as usual)
A friend of mine said it's weird and that I shouldn't say that I don't have any when I'm asked about it as I could even get in trouble in some specific scenarios.
>I could even get in trouble in some specific scenarios.
>mate you got a proivacee loicanse??
The response I get the most is "Oh you must think you're so much better than everyone else!" or "Oh, you're one of those people"
Just makes it hard to have long term friendships
>I could even get in trouble in some specific scenarios.
wat
>"Oh, you're one of those people"
what people?
Probably a weird hermit or social recluse.
>Probably a weird hermit or social recluse.
oh. well they're not wrong
Where I live not having social media is considered creepy, I wish it was like in those responses instead
It's not a bad thing but the thing about normies is that the idea that someone may choose to live a reclusive life without being forced into it has never crossed their minds so they often jump to strange conclusions about the person. Assuming it was your choice at least. Then again, if it was your choice I suppose you wouldn't be interacting with them in the first place.
