'Leadership through service' sounds like a totally misleading statement put out by elites to prevent or cockblock non-elites from reaching the position of elite. They do this because they believe a non-elite who is destined to become elite will be cunning and wise enough to find the truth within their intentionally false and misleading statements. Others include phrases like 'success comes through hard work' and 'money doesn't make you happy' many more such statements with similar purpose.
