Christian No Fap Thread

I'm on no fap day 4 and I feel extremely euphoric. I've just been meditating on Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform my soul into love with the help of Christian rock. I've also been taking the Eucharist at daily Mass as well so it's been giving me special graces to resist temptation. What about you guys?

'In this moment, I am euphoric. Not because of I am enlightened by my intelligence. But because, I abstain from leaking bodily fluids."

I havent fapped for over a year. I dont feel any better though. Been far too blackpilled

Dude I broke my week long nofap streak last night for some reason. Starting again today. I was feeling so good, music sounded incredible, I wasn't an awkward faggot, and I sounded like Johnny Cash. Anyway good job OP

I have always wondered how we are expected to find wives if lusting is a sin. By noticing a womens body and being sexually attracted to it, it is a sin. But how are we able to choose who to marry if we have to ignore looks essentially entirely?

Also, why do modern christians seem to be ok with dressing in revealing clothing like a bikini or even just a skirt thats above your knees? It seems like if we were to take the bible more literally, christians would be more like muslims in that women would need to cover up their whole body.

At least it's wholesome and self-fulfilling unlike atheist cringe.

What parts of the Bible are you referencing here, exactly?

To appreciate physical beauty is not a sin; to lust would be to wish to engage in sexual relations with a woman outside of marriage, by my interpretation. To think of a woman as beautiful and sexually appealing is not the same as fantasising genuinely about having sex with her before marriage.

Lust =/= sexual attraction. Being sexually attracted to somebody is natural and fine, there's literally nothing wrong with that. It only becomes a sin when we no longer see the person we are attracted to as a person but purely as a sex object for our own gratification, like in pornography. Also, just to note, in the context of the passage against lust from Jesus in Matthew 5:29 Jesus specifically says by doing it we are committing adultery in our hearts which implies that, at least in this specific instance, Jesus is speaking in the context of married women. To lust after a married woman would be no different from being covetous, which would be breaking the tenth commandment.

The Bible was written to make people slaves. It is literally fairy tales no proof of the temples or Jesus existing

does the bible say anything against masturbation?

Virtually all scholars of antiquity accept that Jesus was a historical figure,[note 1][note 2][4][5][6][7] although interpretations of a number of the events mentioned in the gospels (most notably his miracles and resurrection) vary and are a subject of debate.[8][9][10][11] Standard historical criteria have aided in evaluating the historicity of the gospel narratives,[12][13] and only two key events are subject to "almost universal assent", namely that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and crucified by order of the Roman Prefect Pontius Pilate.[10][11][9][14]

The quest for the historical Jesus and the scholarly reconstructions of the life of Jesus are based primarily on critical analysis of the gospel texts and applying the standard criteria of historical-critical investigation,[1][2][3] and methodologies for analyzing the reliability of primary sources and other historical evidence.[15]

Virtually all scholars of antiquity agree that a historical human Jesus existed.[7][16][17] Historian Michael Grant asserts that if conventional standards of historical textual criticism are applied to the New Testament, "we can no more reject Jesus' existence than we can reject the existence of a mass of pagan personages whose reality as historical figures is never questioned."[18]

The Christ myth theory, which developed within the scholarly research on the historical Jesus, is the view that "the story of Jesus is a piece of mythology", possessing no "substantial claims to historical fact".[19] Alternatively, in terms given by Bart Ehrman paraphrasing Earl Doherty, "the historical Jesus did not exist. Or if he did, he had virtually nothing to do with the founding of Christianity."[20]

Virtually all biblical scholars and classical historians see the theories of his non-existence as effectively refuted,[7][17][21] and in modern scholarship, the Christ myth theory is a fringe theory and finds virtually no support from scholars.[22][23][24][25][note 2]

Well, in the OT God kills Onan because he didn't cum inside the woman he was supposed to. This kinda implies that cumming anywhere but inside of a vagina is a sin

Not specifically but God created sex for reproduction and masturbation is against nature in that it does not result in reproduction.

idk sounds like that would mean that all sex that doesn't result in reproduction is immoral
like, infertile people wouldn't be allowed to fuck, pregnant people wouldn't be allowed to fuck, etc.
something gives me the vibe that god would think loving couples lovingly fucking each other because they love each other would be ok?

>idk sounds like that would mean that all sex that doesn't result in reproduction is immoral
Well that's exactly the case if the intention is not to reproduce. In the case of masturbation, the intention is most certainly not to reproduce but to attain gratification for one's self.
>like, infertile people wouldn't be allowed to fuck, pregnant people wouldn't be allowed to fuck, etc. So infertile people can have sex, as long as the intention for the possibility of conception is there, then there is no sin.

Well, the other user told you only half of the picture. God also made us with a desire for intimacy, which is in part fulfilled by sex in a loving marriage. This justifies sex in situations where you can't reproduce, as long as you're not intentionally removing the reproductive function from it yourself

>Not specifically

are

you

kidding

me

???

yes, user: Christ Jesus 'specifically' said in Matthew 5:27-28 that if you lust after someone you are committing adultery

you can go on from there and do a bible-wide study as to why sexual sin is one of the more self-destructive evils, since it has a spiritual element to it

i doubt he gets that it was the sin of breaking God's law to provide an heir to his dead brother, that was the reason Onan got merked

... but good shout on your part, anywise

>random people will die from eating a tiny amount of certain nuts because... because they just will, ok?!?

Jesus was a kike that quite literally came only for his fellow kikes. What part of that don't you faggots understand? He never gave a shit about you if you weren't a kike. Stop giving people false hope. It's. OVER

question, if god considers "spilling one's seed" a sin in and of itself, why do our bodies make it inevitable through wet-dreaming? wasting cum is a biological necessity.

mental weakness

I can always succeed at nofap on the weekends, and usually on Friday, so I don't corrupt myself before church, but I always fuck it up again on Monday right after I went to confession on Saturday.
I just want to be worthy of a wife, I don't even deserve a virgin wife anymore for all the cooming I've done. I just want to forgive a girl for her shit and for her to forgive me for mine, and love and dote on her for eternity. I never wanted to fap, I do it out of loneliness.
Why's it gotta be so hard bros

I am on about 9 weeks Nofap, and I do not really feel any better beyond knowing God is happy with me and I am no longer a degenerate porno addict.

I will pray for you, user.
Amen user! Your soul is infused with holiness!

What if someone says they still see porn stars as people and not just as objects?

Thank you. I had been masturbating since I was 2 and watching hardcore porn since I was 8 or 9, so it is a big step forward for me. I am still blackpilled on relationships and have to finish losing weight, but I at least took a big step in the right direction.

Ya but its a sin to be physical with any woman who is not your wife. It seems to draw the line everywhere and not just with married women

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13
