I don't really care about amber Heard and never even HEARD the name until this trial controversy, but to be honest it sits real sour with me that the court of public opinion flocked to Depp's side so mindlessly.

initially, yes. but again the lack of proof didn't help either. a lot of people assumed rittenhouse was guilty but if they watched the trial they wondered what the fuck the media was smoking when they presented completely different facts about what happened, and there was an overwhelming amount of evidence in his favor. that evidence helped sway public opinion about him.
