I found my closest online friend of 5 years has been a female all this time hiding her gender as a male. She is actually a asexual woman with zero sex drive who relates heavily to males. I am torn as to what to do, this person is my closest friend but I feel lied to. They came clean because we spoke on voice chat and I called them out. No wonder they never voice chatted in all the years I knew them. Today is a sad day

if you expected to meet fully functional and well adjusted individuals on this side of the interwebz, you were a bit naive

it says something to your character that this person felt comfortable enough to maintain a friendship for several years, and eventually be honest, i suppose
