This is probably a very long shot, but there is just one possible thing here. By sheer coincidence, her brother is the manager of a company that is involved in a legal dispute with my great uncle's company. Last month my great uncle gave me a grand to fly up to Inverness and see if that company had damaged his equipment. Although she was already messaging me occasionally before this, her messaging frequency increased a lot after. I had made a comment that I was going to Inverness and she didn't seem interested at first, but 2 weeks later she suddenly started asking me loads of questions about what I was doing up there. It certainly makes me think, but on balance that is probably just a pure coincidence.
