Why are millennials so much lazier, less skilled, and more pathetic in every way than boomers?

bullshit.

Consistent with prior mobility studies, the data show that over half of taxpayers moved to a different income quintile and that roughly half of taxpayers who began in the bottom income quintile moved up to a higher income group by the end of each period. By contrast, those with the very highest incomes in the base year were more likely to drop to a lower income group and the median real income of these taxpayers declined in each period. Economic growth resulted in rising incomes for most taxpayers over both time periods. Initial position in the income distribution and changes in marital status were found to be associated with the largest upward or downward movements through the income distribution.
If you follow flesh and blood people instead of abstract groups there isn't your progressive narrative about the rich getting richer. they're losing money

>tables
hurr durr I need graphs

This is a good thing, retard. Millennials have boomer parents, aka we have all the wealth without actually doing any work.

>from 1996 to 2005
so basically excluding millenials almost entirely, as only a tiny % had even finished college by then?
LOL nice "rebuttal" incel

>aka we have all the wealth
no, boomers have it. you're going to have to wait until they died and just hope they pass it on (split up between siblings as well)

why would I work hard when I could just leech off my wealthy boomer parents and eventually inherit their stuff?

Man, dealing with end of life costs and Medicare is going to be a shock for you.

Economy bubble busted in early 2000s...

I don't see much evidence for that? I think a core reason for this diference in wealth is a change in regulations and tax structure. Ignoring melenials who get useless degrees they are more likely to have high skilled qualifications and work experience in fields like engineering, medicine and software development. One of the main reasons for this difference is an increase in sales taxes and social security taxes which disproportionately impact lower income and young people, while reducing taxes on profits and speculation. Plus strict building and zoning regulations means that existing homeowners wealth increases while those trying to enter the property market have to borrow more money.

>be boomer
>accumulate $5m wealth throughout your life (more than enough for a NEET to retire off of)
>last few years of life
>get cancer and heart disease
>decide to spend millions of $ on treatment
>only extend lifespan by a few months, and now kids inherit nothing
ahh, boomers

>I don't see much evidence for that?
>goes on to whine about how boomers somehow have no qualifications yet manged to create this economy for millenials who mostly just get useless degrees and squander everything
>WAHH I CANT AFFORD A HOUSE BECAUSE BOOMERS JUST WANT THEIR PROPERTY VALUES TO GO UP
grow up, loser

>boomers dont give money to their kids
Retard moment. If you dont have a family just go back

Boomers are too busy spending their money on vacations, boats, plastic surgery, nice golf events, home renovations (yes even in their 70s), Star Citizen, and old muscle cars. They have been basically living mid life crises for 40 years. They are not going to be leaving their kids and grandkids with much.

Thankfully my boomer parents were always and still are broke as fuck so I never expected anything.

boomers literally charge their kids rent to live with them

Boomers literally demanded the entire world shut down and every business close and millions of people lose their jobs and children not go to school because of the flu. Anyone who thinks they give a fuck about the future of their kids and grandkids after that is living a fantasy.

Boomers give their kids free houses and cars you dumb ass. Do you even know what a trust fund is? I bet you never saw a boomer or a millennial in your life

Spending money means the younger generation gets that money. Try again.

LOL imagine believing this shit is actually common

Most people don't get useless degrees user, that is typically only a small percentage of upper middle class people. Pointing out the changes in an economy and the effects of that is not being immature, it is just an observation. Stop trying to act tough on a Tuvan Saiga hunting forum, your just ignorant and lack an understanding of the world around you.

>Spending money means the younger generation gets that money. Try again.
lolwut? they're just exchanging money with other boomers for the most part, with the government (run by boomers) taxing a bit of every purchase
