I've thought about this from time to time and have come to the conclusion that people with introspection don't have to feel guilty about not creating anything since the consumption itself serves as a catalyst for self-development, every time you consume music , videos, art etc are small pieces that can serve you as an individual. creating something inspirational can only come out of those people who have been versed before

Creator dont want do "do something", they want to concretely make a song, or a short story, or a painting. Or they trained and internalized their craft and they dont even want to create something, it just comes out
My point is, creating is better than just consuming because you can learn about yourself and what you like and comunicate with others, but your way of approaching it seems to be a question of external validation, of "I need to be a creator for the sake of being a creator", a view at the same time romantic and unproductive, a way of being special amidst the masses. This wont take you far

Few people create, fewer people create things that anyone else besides their mother gives a shit about, and fewer still create something that enters the cultural canon. But that doesnt keep people frkm creating. Creators dont create for the canon, they create because they must create, even if no one is there to see
