It's not overpriced. You're just poor and the government (democrats and republicans) makes sure new housing can't be built while letting millions of illegals flood the country to keep landlords happy.

Where do you live? And can you move somewhere cheaper?

its gonna get worse too

>It's not overpriced.
Yeah, it is. Housing prices went up over 15%. If you think that isn't picked up by the tenant(s), you're mentally retarded and not worth having a conversation with.
>You're just poor
Wages haven't increased for the majority of workers, so yeah, they're going to be poor.
>and the government... makes sure new housing can't be built
No.
>letting millions of illegals flood the country
This isn't happening. You're a fucking retard and so are the boomers that spoonfed you this. I can't believe you faggots eat this shit up.

>Housing isn't overpriced
>It's the immigrants!!!
lol ok. Snap back to reality my friend.
>Where do you live?
I live in Texas.
>And can you move somewhere cheaper?
No. I have to live in Temple because I'm attending school at the hospital there. All the apartments under 1k per month are shady and were constructed in the 1970s. All the apartments for 1-1.2k look mediocre at best. Luckily I only need to be there for 12 months. By the time I move, I should have about 27k saved up in the bank and will work part-time during my stay.

wrong, there is another way. Apply for NEETbux and the taxpayers sexhavers will start paying your rent. I m living rentfree and it is great!

yeah Texas is pretty steep. But most places are. I'd say move somewhere in the dustbowl where it's still pretty affordable, but then the only jobs are at your local Casey's and being affordable no longer matters because you're not making money anymore.

>black rock and other corpojews buying up millions of rental properties from private landlords

I don't live in a nanny state and I'm not mentally ill. Not possible.

My parents are planning on moving to Maine. Mother says I'm always welcome to live with them. I'll probably just live with my mommy until I can afford a house. Hopefully housing prices drop drastically when the full force of the upcoming 2008v.2 recession hits. If not Maine, Minnesota seems cool.

Minnesota is where I live. Somehow managed to snag me a house in the middle of the pandemic for insanely low interest rates, and I've staying here until I die lmao

It's cold half the year, but it'll be one of the less bad places to be in the next 40 years I think

Yes, yesss.
It's better for YOU , the dumb goy to believe that YOU are wrong, instead of those greedy parasites who hoard all the housing and fuck you with mortgages if they can. Oh no, it's certainly YOU.
Kikes make immigrants the scapegoat, diverting attention from themselves once again.

>inflation adjusted housing prices, checkem
>home ownership rates, chekem
>household debt and mortgage rates, chekem
>inflation adjusted minimal wage rates, chekem

I'm 34 years old and I moved out of my parents house at age 20. I have always had either a roommate or a girlfriend who lived with me and helped pay rent/ bills.
My first apartment was a newly built 2br place for around $600/month in 2010. At the time I was barely able to afford my share $300/mo on my salary making minimum wage ($7.30/hr) as a cashier at the local drugstore. I looked it up now and rent for the same exact unit is $1,000/mo.

That's a 66% increase in rent over 12 years, and minimum wage in my state has only increased 27% to ($9.30/hr).

Personally I've increased my own salary by like 700% or some shit since that time, but like... how are young people just starting out supposed to afford to live? If you have to take a minimum wage job because you don't have experience, there's just no chance for you. You're going to have to pile into a cheap apartment with like 4 roommates just to survive, like a god damn boarding house from 1800's England.

>The only way to make it cheaper is to have roommates
>The only way
Is it the only way? Is it?

It's outrageous. I keep thinking of ways to live cheaper but the only real way is to live with random people on Craigslist and that's awful in my experience.

You don't know how lucky you are. The cheapest apartment where I live is $1800 a month before utilities.

I wouldnt mind living with roommates but good luck getting decent ones.
