Lucky for me, nobody even gets male pattern balding in my family.

Literally never in my life seen so much copium in one place

My brother is bald. My father is bald. Yet my grandfathers were not bald.
I am 23 and I am le... not bald. I have long hair.
Hopefully I will never be bald.

>27
>severely balding
it's over

i started thinning at the crown at 25 so i shaved it
in my case i actually look better shaved

27 and thinning
trying to reverse it with minox 5%
Hairline is norwood 1

It's just an echo chamber for bald people to feel better about themselves, it's against the rules to post anything negative so it's pointless anyway.
In reality they know their genetics fucked them and every single one of them wonders why this terrible affliction still exists. I should know I'm one of them.

Cope and seethe male-pattern baldness cue balls

what a faggot you are, the sheer fact that bald people exist should be enough to make you understand that your genetics haven't "fucked you", does being bald suck? sure, but bald people reproduce and that's why this affliction still exists, because it's not that relevant

Didn't get sex before losing hair, won't get sex after. Nothing has changed except now my showers are quicker with no hair to wash.
It's not about reproducing it's the fact bald people know they would look better with hair which would give them more confidence and improve their lives overall.

30 and balding. Norwood 2, I think. So I just buzzcut, and luckily I can grow Taliban-caliber beards.

Reminds me of that one reddit post saying that everyone who is being "body positive" is just giga-coping. And that if fat people could have their ideal body they would. All of that "fat pride" and "body positive" crap would go out the window if they had a magic wand to make themselves skinny or give themselves a full head of hair.

Baldness is a sign of poor hormonal health (which is why it's universally regarded as unattractive). You can be genetically susceptible to it, but it's not genetic destiny. Our modern environment fucks us over. People in hunter gatherer tribes are largely free of this affliction.

The worst part is that it's not anything like obesity, where you can at least still lose weight. You're fucked for life if it happens unless you get a wig or make yourself look like a cancer patient.

And, also, people have zero sympathy for you and just tell you trite, prepackaged things that sound meaningful/poetic, but are actually highly mentally abusive (let go it's only hair it doesn't matter/just shave it off bro/you just gotta man up/etc). Things which they would never tell to someone with alopecia areata or someone going through chemotherapy (to whom they would show the correct response: sympathy).

You're not even allowed to wear a hair piece without people seeing you as "weak" or some other bullshit, which, again, if someone had alopecia areata or was going through chemotherapy, the response would be completely fucking different to a wig.

Baldness really is a living hell and our dumb society makes it 1000 times worse with the way they treat it.

Started blading at 18, my grandfather was bald at 25. I'm taking finasteride and it's completely stopped my thinning. Very happy :D

You're kinda a dumbass. the X chromosome has been linked to male pattern baldness and if you are a man and your mother's father was bald, you have a 50% chance of inheriting his baldness. Women propigate it, but it's mostly invisble since it doesn't affect women, only their sons.

my father was bald, his brother is bald, their father was bald, my mother's father wasn't bald, my mother's mother's father wasn't bald, I'm bald
crazy how nature does that

Relax, man. You'll be alright.

38, and no. I started getting greys at like 22 though.

it's a generalisation, not all the balding genes come from the X chromosome. My father still has a full head of hair at 50 and i'm balding.
Basically:
1 bald guy = bad
2 bald guys = worse (it's over...)

but I don't get why you go from "bald" to "it's over", what's over? you can find a woman and reproduce as lots of bald men do, it may be harder but every person has their disadvantages in the dating game save for chad

He seems relaxed enough. Projecting much?

>He
This, too, shall pass.

op here just checking in again im trans btw not sure if that matters?

Baldness can come from both sides of the family and it isn't a single gene, it's a mixture of genes. There's bald genes on the Y chromosome passed by the father too.
