i've never had a memorable date at a movie theater and neither has the girl. She might remember the movie if it's good, she won't remember you because she spent 2 hours sitting next to you looking at a big screen with a loud musical score drowning out any chance at interaction. He didn't say he's sperging out and unable to talk to this girl, he has a problem with his brain projecting his future with this girl. I'm just saying just focus that restless thought on what you would do if you had a single day with her. Most guys don't think too much about the dates they go on, but if you put in a little forethought, you can really win a girl over in one day.

by "whole day" I mean like early afternoon to like 9:00, or like 10-4, assuming you already have talked to this woman. If it's a cold ask out, or a first meeting from an app, I'd do something extremely noncommittal like coffee, while you talk to her to see whether you would even enjoy a full day with her.
