To me it is. But, desu, time of posting doesn't seem to really matter all that much anymore. Back in the day Any Forums was a secret club but it isn't really all that secret anymore. I'm just glad I have friends I can always turn to when life gets rough.

That's true. It really took off with pol and the election because of election tensions. The feels good man meme was what started it though, but, it had evolved to the point of getting mainstream media attention by the time the election happened.

Yep it was mostly popularized by r/thedonald refugees who flooded Any Forums after reddit shut down that sub.
So when you see a frogposter, he has assimilated into reddit subculture, Any Forums in general just just been reddit since 2016 and the migration.

pol was a mistake and should be nuked. If I am being honest I stopped posting in 2996 and decided to come back about 2 years ago because biz was making a stirr durring the crash.

Any Forums was super comfy during February-April 2020.
I stopped browsing around 2016 due to getting a job and a gf, but that all falling apart led me to Any Forums (which I had never browsed originally) and I found a different side to Any Forums).
In my early years I mostly browsed Any Forums, lol, but I haven't visited that board since like 2016 lol.
2018 was when I returned, and Elliotposting and incelposting was at its peak after Alex Minassian and the van attack (the site being frozen for several days is what alerted me to Any Forums).

Any Forums has become worthless and should also just be deleted. There is a nice irony about the random board being the most predictable and worthless board on the site now a days, though.

Honestly Any Forums is alright if you look outside of Any Forums Any Forums and Any Forums The boards the generate the most controversy seem to be the shitiest boards.

It's pretty nuts. I feel like I am an important link to the timescale if imageboard culture which is mostly spread through myth and word of mouth.

For some reason, I can never leave Any Forums. I still browse it religiously and have been doing so since 2018.

There was a definite change in the qualitative nature of frogposting (it wouldn't have been called that)

r9k is the least shitty of the 3, but, the issue is that it brings lonely and socially isolated men into a common space and, well, in post modern capitalist society, with no direction, you get crazy skitzos who want to shoot up malls.
