This boggles my mind. I'm from Finland and Finland alone pretty much beats America no matter what metrics you use. We have comfy cool weather and you can just receive 1k a month from the government and never work in your life. You can get a free university degree that's respected worldwide. No tuition fees, nothing. Become a doctor, become a physicist.. just collect as many degrees as you want. We have the world's fastest 5G network that you can use to watch anime and sip on imported Monster drinks just like you would in le murrica. We have the highest press freedom in the world, much higher than in the corrupt US.
America, however, is full of crime and homeless people, most people live from paycheck to paycheck or just die. Many resort to crime - and punishments in America are ridiculous, you get years in prison for mariwanna and here you can just smok and get a slap on the wrist.

Imo the US have really their appeal on both ends of the economic scale in the last few decades. Pre 2000 things used to be: If you are rich, go to america. It is catering to you. If you are poor, be anywhere else. Certain parts of the US are going to be worse than third world shit holes for you.

I skipped military service altogether by proving that I'm an anxiety-suffering robot who can't get anything done. You can do community service for 12 months if you don't want to do what I did. Or you can wait until you turn 28 or 29. That's when you don't need to enlist anymore. The Finnish army considers you too old at that age which is kind of sad. In the US you can join the army at over 30 which I kind of like because I'm a boomer who feels useless.

American incomes are much, MUCH higher than in Finland and most other nations in Europe, even adjusted for purchasing power. (Norway and Switzerland are doing a bang-up job.) If we annexed the UK or France or Spain or Italy, those nations would become our poorest and shittiest states, below even Mississippi and Alabama. Places like Greece and Poland would be Puerto Rico-tier.
America *looks* full of homeless people, because homeless people are indulged by Democrat city governments, and that means that drug addicts and schizophrenics who should simply be locked away and warehoused are disturbingly visible. If our city governments started enforcing quality of life laws to the letter, rather than letting bums do whatever they please, the homeless problem would disappear in under a week.

First off. Finland is Sweden. No, really. All high education, finance, taxation is managed by Sweden. Only thing Finland is responsible is defense.
