My own software

I've started making my own software, it's my lifelong dream.
But I'm not very good at it, and the project is too big for me alone.
I've humbled to the realization that I need to pay people to do the hard parts.

But, once again I'm faced with the pride and ego of programmers. When I wanted to learn coding, they were the first to tell me I'd fail and I'd have to pay them.
Now that I am looking to pay someone, they're telling me
>Naah man do you have any idea how big these projects can get? You need a whole team. It could take years. Python is sooo hard I'm gonna have to ask for 10k per month sorry m8.
Coders are trying to demoralize me and rip me off any chance they get.

So, I enrolled into a university and I'm gonna sneakily make friends there and pay these poor students like 200 bucks a month for building my software. They're penniless and ready to do porn so I think their six figure demands will be more realistic now.
What do you think anons? Do you support my endeavour or are you offended and emotional?

why dont you just code everything yourself?

what sort of software are you making?

I don't care, but python will die soon

If you think code is easy, write some. You can steal this greasmonkey script that I wrote. pastebin.com/LjRdZnav
PROTIP: you can get tons of free code on github.com

>why dont you just code everything yourself?

Because I cant mate, my project uses 3-5 different languages and several technologies. I don't need just something like a Python guy. I need a web developer as well, someone to check security, a sys admin for the servers etc

>I cant mate, my project uses 3-5 different languages and several technologies
Fucking retarded
Just use javascript for everything

It's to hard to learn. Documents are too hard to understand and coders refuse to spoonfeed online.

>wah it's too hard
No, it's not. Retarded children can learn to code. Stop whining and start copying and pasting.

I think you're a kike

>No, it's not. Retarded children can learn to code. Stop whining and start copying and pasting.

I don't want to. I want to pay a student 100 bucks to make it for me in less than a week.
It's faster, more comfy and makes me feel like an employer.
My dream is to set up a company around my project.

I am. Why work for someone else

OP here

Anons always tell me to follow my dreams and when I do, they shoot me down.

The term you are looking for is "contractor". They're employees you pay by the job, not by the hour.

Yeah that's true. Thanks for correcting.
I have very specific parts of my software that need doing.

pay me those 200 bucks and im gonna do it for you as long as it's reasonable, lmao.

Its an adult VR experience that uses an Japanese art style. But I cant say more to keep it secret.

Programming is piss fucking easy, the mystical trappings it gained was an illusion.

Hello user.
A couple of small things I need for my website right now:
>fix my php login/register system
>make a php/mysql thingymabob where users can click on images and add them to their list of favorites that they can view in their own profile (profile page exists already)

Why don't you just use FOSS? It's better than anything you can make yourself, and if not, you should contribute to it yourself.

I dont understand what you mean. I cant "use" anything because my idea doesnt exist anywhere yet.
I'm making a new platform to take over Twitter.

You litterally can, though? I single-handedly do all of those in my job. I'm working on 3 separate softwares, all using different technologies and I'm the only engineer in the team. Just don't be a retard.

Right, I'm sure nobody has ever created an alternative to one of the largest social media platforms on the web with the same functionality.
