let me tell you my story of evangelion waifus.
when i was wee young lad i didnt understand asuka and she seemed difficult, rei on the other hand seemed nice and quiet, so i went with rei.
but then i grew up and felt rei was boring and a childish choice, asuka was more like a real woman, strong character and needs, so i went with asuka.
eventually tho i became old and realized realistic women are tiresome and not worth indulging them, so i went back to rei.
