Punk has at least drawn some decent PPV buys headlining shows. And houses in Chicago. Bryan is just a pathetic anti draw rape victim.

take your meds negan

CM Punk
>Massive hype from the return
>Sells merch because nostalgia of WWE golden days
>Constant botches
>Hurrr free ice-cream
>Botch some more
>Shitty anaemic promos
>Anaemic in-ring performances
>Hype massively died down
Daniel Bryan
>Has cut several good promos
>Put over Garcia and has been training some of the current prospect
>Still very very good in-ring
>Fans still mark out for him
Hmmm

it's a tie. they both lose.

Bryan makes everyone he gets in the ring with look like a star. CM Punk is the one who has to be carried. Even by guys like Hangman Adam Page who are just "pretty good"

Bryan is way better, but Punk is a bigger "draw." Neither of them moved the needle as much as they thought they would because they squandered both of them out of the gate by having them wrestle jobbers instead of presenting them as stars because they have to adhere to W-L records.
Punk especially was wasted by making him come out every week and cut Foley/Cena "happy to be here" hybrid promos which is at odds with everything that makes him interesting. Danielson and Mox also shouldn't be in a fucking stable. Tony is literally flushing his company down the toilet because his bag of tricks (surprise debut, huge announcement) is near empty.

The issue of them going against Indie shitters isn't a problem, but they shouldn't be doing 15-30+ minute matches with these guys all it does is diminish the star value.

Tony Khan talked about revenue, making profit etc? Constant new guys and never breaking past 1 million consistently.

>The issue of them going against Indie shitters isn't a problem, but they shouldn't be doing 15-30+ minute matches with these guys all it does is diminish the star value.
Yeah, that's true. Wasn't CM Punk's last match before his fucking world title match a TWENTY MINUTE match with Dustin Rhodes? Punk should be squashing people like that.

bloody hell

We are having an actual argument here, Wolfie, please take your autism somewhere else

the dustin rhodes match was a great match though and dustin should be presented as a strong and skilled veteran, a better example would be the penta match because penta in singles matches exists to do 2 taunts and eat a pin

Not THAT strong and skilled. If Drew McIntyre had a 20 minute match against like MVP it would be fucking stupid.
There needs to be a heirarchy/pecking order. There's too much 50/50 shit in AEW where everyone is portrayed as being more or less equal strength.
I get why it happens out of kayfabe. It's cool for Punk and Dustin to go out there and put on a show together, and it was a good match. It just doesn't make sense for what's trying to be told on the actual product. It's shortsighted and does more harm than good in the long run.

very true

wwe is irrelevant, danielson will always be better than punk

based and truthpilled

oh my word!

Wolfie is a Cuckman Phil fan. That's 2 KWABs of one stone.
